[b]She notices a bounty board on the other side of the room.[/b] [spoiler]up for a job?[/spoiler]

[b]Cygnus gets an idea. A stupid one, but an idea nevertheless. She walks to the board.[/b]

[b]There are two jobs remaining. One to investigate and nullify/destroy a mysterious object, and another to escort a merchant's convoy through a nebula. Each job can be picked up for more info.[/b]

[b]Cygnus looks for details on each.[/b]

[b]The mysterious object mission was posted by another mercenary group. According to them, they encountered on odd asteroid with purple markings that messed with electronics when neared. No reward was posted, but they did say it may be a hazard to civilians. The escort bounty is simple. There is a nebula the merchants want to cut through for speed, but reports say other convoys have gone missing in the past. They want you to clear a path. A 2000 credit reward is posted for safe travel.[/b]

[b]By the time you do, Cypher has already grabbed it and left.[/b]

[b]Cygnus saves the coordinates of the asteroid, leaving the Cyprus to check it out.[/b]

[b]Yor arrive in the asteroid belt it was spotted in, but it has obviously moved from its original position, you will have to fly through the asteroids for a bit.[/b]

[b]Cygnus flies her ship around aimlessly until she finds the asteroid.[/b]

[b]While flying, you notice an area where the asteroids are spinning abnormally. One flies directly at your ship.[/b]

[b]It bounces off the ship's energy shield.[/b]

[b]As it bounces away, you see a large asteroid, almost the size of a small moon, with purple markings. Your warp systems deactivate and your ships shields falter. You can see a place on it where it would be easy to land.[/b]

[b]Cygnus lands there. As she steps out, her suit activates.[/b] "Hmm...they weren't lying."

[b]Her suit malfunctions a bit, but still works for the most part. She sees a cave entrance, though it is abnormally round and symmetrical.[/b]

[b]Cygnus enters it.[/b]

[b]As she goes deeper, the rough surface of the ground forms into stair-like structures, and the purple becomes more like wires along the walls than splotches.[/b]

[b]Cygnus looks around.[/b] "What the..."

[b]Once at the bottom, it opens into a large room. The purple lines connect to torch like objects that in turn radiate a neon purple light. There is a pedestal with a glowing purple orb hovering above it. As you near it, more and more of your electronics give out.[/b]
