I've ground every IB (since I started, missed the first one) to rank 5 on multiple characters. I still have some of that old crap in my vault because sentimentality. I'm not quitting, and I'm not upset. But I'm not even tempted to bother with IB this time around. Why? Because low light items are useless. High light items to use to infuse them trickle in too slowly to become excited about any of the current drops. Sure, it's still fun to shoot space aliens, and the fps action in Destiny is super smooth and super fun. But the rewards are f'd. Gratification. Drop more fun toys more often. Because? It's a game. Make it more fun, less grind. Another vague disillusionment: hand cannons. I don't care what your master plan for weapons is, how YOU see a hand cannon relative to a scout rifle or whatever. I had fun with the dynamic of killing stuff with hand cannons. I don't these days (accuracy and ammo—I'm ok with range fall-off, mostly). I hope your plans are worth your development effort, and I hope I can continue to find stuff to enjoy in this game. Yeah, I'm going to go enjoy FO4 and Star Wars for a bit :) I'll check back in whenever later. Why am I posting this? Because feedback. It's worth 2 min of my time in case anyone who can do something useful is listening. Please, Bungie. Keep Destiny relevant, keep it fun.
