Lol you must be like 13. You didnt list Bungie's games from the 90s before halo
-
Still think halo 3 is their best title, reach was good but they tried to many new things. Armor abilities broke halo. I'd love to see something like forge come to destiny.

Never played halo

WHATTTTT? No marathon? ODST? Halo wars? Lol jk. Halo 2 FTW!

Edited by Power: 11/18/2015 3:37:16 PMHaha bananas. That's a joke for old Bungie fans.
-
Reach would be number one but because you put 1,2, and 3 together, they win.

Halo 2 is the game that made me fall in love with console FPS games in general. That being said I think I have the best memories playing ODST and Reach, as crazy as it sounds. Two and Three were most definitely more true to the Halo experience but Reach set the landscape for me.

Reach wins personally.
Customized maps & game types. O . o Awesome!!!!
Halo Reach a phenomenal multiplayer, but didn't have the classic maps Halo 2 and 3 had. I think Destiny shouldn't have PvP as it has a 3 tier weapon system. It spawns you out with about 6 High to Insta kill damaging shots in one gun, and an already powerful enough weapon in the primary. Heavy gives that one survivor OP status while everyone cries below. Supers are just unbalanced completely. Halo gives you two weapons and you need to find combos and have good gun to succeed. You have to fight your way to get the strong weapons, and even then you need to know how to use those properly. Destiny just requires no skill.

Halo 2 literally made console gaming multiplayer fps a thing. Their matchmaking system was revolutionary when it launched.

Edited by chilean sea bass: 11/17/2015 9:06:51 PMPeople are actually saying Reach was the best halo... I can't.

If you voted for Destiny over halo you are a -blam!-ing moron.

I really enjoyed reach. ~TheGreatNike

Reach will get backwards compatibility and then I will be playing the best halp again
-
Why did people think reach was bad? Haven't played it in forever.

Edited by Ectogasm: 11/17/2015 8:58:40 PMI grew up with Halo, I was 5 when I first touched a Xbox Controller and played Halo: CE (I played it at night because my parents didn't want me playing it) and I absolutely loved it. Now I'm 18 and still kiss ass in Halo 5 like it's my birthright. Halo was always there for me <3

I know oni won't get much love but that game was seriously good y'all, no early Halo or destiny but still solid, I recommend it if you've never played it
-
Oni was garbage.
-
I liked most of Bungie's games. The Halos were fun, Marathons were fun, Oni was fun, but Destiny isn't like those older games. It can be fun, but I find myself mindlessly shooting enemies and wondering why I even bother.
-
Why so little love for Reach? As good as all three numerical Halos were under Bungie's watch, Reach was so much better. Visually, I would even argue it's on par with Destiny. Gameplay was better than any previous Halo. The storytelling and character development were top notch. The music dragged the overall audio experience down a bit, but the effects were so good that music mattered very little. And then there was Firefight... As much as I love those core Halo games by Bungie, I can't choose them over Reach... As for other Bungie titles, I haven't played enough of them to be able to fairly judge them. Marathon (what I played of it, anyways) was pretty good, and my small dose of Oni was certainly enjoyable, but I just don't have enough experience with these titles to definitively say they were or weren't better than any Halo. Destiny, while very good, is just not as fulfilling as any Halo title on Bungie's resumé. TL;DR I think Reach needs some more love here as it is easily the most complete Bungie game to date IMHO.

People just gonna forget Marathon? One of my first games
-
Since I didn't play the first three halos, destiny and reach are for me

Noble team... Move out...
