Cayde-6 gave me a quest, with the first step a simple destroy guardians in Crucible with a smoke grenade/melee. Being IB week, I went on to do some pve things, kill some Vex, etc. I noticed on my way to the Tower that I nearly completed that part, so I detoured to Earth, and lobbed glitterbombs on Dregs. And voilà. Quest portion done. Talked to Cayde, moved on to grenades. So far, grenades in pve fail to generate the same results. This is the kind of code/game/problem a technone like me might generate, so...yeah. Thanks for the, uh, freebie.
