RNG can still be rewarding. You shouldn't be able to walk away from the raid without getting anything decent.
I've done the raid multiple times and my highest heavy is a 297 - YES, A 297 - rocket launcher. I've had this same 297 rocket for 3 weeks. I've never even got a raid heavy. Not even once.

I've done the raid 3 times each week hard and normal and the best heavy I've gotten is 312, IT'S RNG!!!!
