With the development of the game I don't disagree, the development stage was before they signed the contract for the game to be published and distributed I would think. It's just very hard to believe that Bungie would slice their throats voluntarily and send out the fractured game that we got. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it thus far. But the head writer leaving before the game even goes out? Dude, something is wrong in pleasantville at that point. Just little things I wonder about sometimes.

The lawsuit from Marty (I think it was him) and the report on Kotaku both claim that the higher-ups of Bungie are the ones who ordered the story rebooted and cut up. About the worst thing Activision did was override Marty's musical choice for the first trailer. Shitty thing to do, certainly, but not nearly as bad as ordering the game to be sliced into pieces.

Oh. I did not see anything on the lawsuit, I only saw the article. I didn't take that too seriously either. Well that was a stupid move on their part then. Thank you for the info.
