No it's worth $2 at GameStop, which accepts things at an extremely low price and then sells them for $30+ dollars.
If you tried to sell it on Amazon or eBay and everyone else was selling it for $2, then you'd have an argument

All the eb games in my town have an entire rack of used destiny to the point where they will not take anymore

It's based on how many copy's they have. GameStop is so useless for trading in these days

I was surprised to find the trade in value for Destiny on ps3 to $7 and $2 on ps4, xb1 and 360.
