Saber News Stories 11-18-15

Welcome back to another edition of Saber News Stories. Last week we announced the winner of the King of Destiny elections, presented two amazing products for the holidays, and we talked about the still underwhelming Nightfall rewards. Well this week we are going to be covering a recurring issue that has plagued the Crucible in the past causing much anguish to Guardians. We also have a guest speaker in the studio to talk to us about a new product for those avid outdoorsmen. I would also like to inform everyone that starting the first few weeks of December our News Reports will be posted not according to schedule due to me having college finals. Luck in the Chamber Disaster Crucible, a few months before the massive weapons balancing update was plagued by quite the nuisance. We are talking about Final Round snipers, the perk allowed the last round in the clip to cause extra damage to enemies. At first, it was not a big deal until someone found that the Final Round perk could actually one shot body shot an enemy player in Crucible. While it wasn’t a problem in the beginning it soon became one when Trials of Osiris came around. Guardians soon began abusing the perk by wasting all of their ammo in a clip until they got to the last shot. This began causing many players to lose interest in the game mode and started causing much hatred between players. Now a new form of this perk has risen called Luck in the Chamber which is exactly the same as Final Round except it is a random shot this time. While the perk only appears to be limited to a single sniper rifle sold by the Gunsmith called the Eriene RR4, we expect this to possibly change in the future. Guardians have been pleading for Bungie to either remove the perk from snipers or fix it like they did with Final Round. We will keep you informed of the situation as information becomes available for the issue. Now on to a lighter segment for the Outdoorsmen in you. Gift for the Hunter in You In the studio with us to help announce a new product for those avid Hunters allow me to introduce my friend and fellow Guardian Emanon13. Hello Emanon. Hello Saber. First off why the noname gamertag? Emanon spelled backwards is noname. I chose the noname gamertag because I love to hear the reaction of people dying in frustration from a nameless guardian. Ah I see. Interesting. So since you are an avid Hunter how about you help me introduce a brand new product hitting shelves just in time for Hunting season. We are talking about the Nightstalker 1500 Compound Bow. Tell us a little about this bow Emanon. Well it is a deep purple color that fills the newly found void in our Hunter Hearts. The frame of the bow is made up of Grade A Titan bones since they are the "strongest" around. Then the bow string is made up of The best and The finest Warlock veins because their pride runs so deep when it is plucked it SNAPS right back. Hmm that really sounds like a sturdy bow. Well here are some of the special mechanics that accompany this bow. Special arrows that can be programed to be non-lethal are fired from the bow. Upon impact on either the target or area near target Dark Matter threads disperse from the arrow head creating indestructible threads that tether prey allowing easy targets for multiple kills. Perfect for those of you who hunt groups of prey. Don't forget about my trusty arrows now. They can be shot three times Ah yes. The Quiver, well those arrows were recalled due to them being able to be used infinitely. Not very profitable if you ask me. I mean hell you could buy one set of these arrows and never have to buy anymore again. Hey, I enjoyed those arrows. I got them for a bargain at the Hunter's Emporium down on Fifth and Traveler. I never had to buy them again. Yeah well its Hunters like you that give other Hunters a bad rep for abusing power. And I am a Titan. Anyways how about we test this product out for our viewers. Well those are some strong words coming from a panic frenzy Titan, but I’ll let that comment slide for now. And yes let’s test this out Hey Tony go set up that target. (speaking to myself) Ok so load arrow up, pull back string. Hmm this string is very difficult to pull back…(sound of bow releasing)… (Tony) Oh Sh**… God Fu**ing Dammit… what in the hell… you just shot me in the ass you dick. Oh you’re just over exaggerating this. Tis but a flesh wound Emanon you are not helping the situation (Tony) F*** you!!! you shot me in the ass on purpose you prick Tony I did not do it on purpose I swear. My big manly Titan hands have trouble holding a tiny Hunter bow... Uh… we are going to be cutting this product showcase short due to an unforeseen incident. Sorry Emanon we will have to cut this interview short. Oh, no worries. I found it quite enjoyable seeing someone quiver in pain from my bow. Uh ok quite the sadistic bastard aren’t you. Well that’s all we have for you this week. We have some medical bills to pay for and potential lawsuit to prevent. We hope you enjoyed this broadcast. We do have a few announcements to squeeze in before we go. Iron Banner has made its return but with a major change. No longer is it Control but now Clash. We shall see how this fares. Bungie also did a little Raid fix for King’s Fall. Yes they fixed the volume on the daughters because out of all the problems King’s Fall has, volume for the daughters was the biggest apparently. Also the final cure for the Infinite Shadowshot Virus has made its way through the population. Hunters can finally have their Quiver back without fear of having an infinite super. And finally the biggest announcement, Banshee-44 is finally selling weapon parts at 5 parts per 250 Glimmer which is an OK deal. Don’t forget to check out our elder brother station Unofficial Weekly Update anchored by MurdiusMaximus on Thursdays. We have also created the Saber News Group so feel free to join up so you can stay up to date with recent as well as older segments. Remember you heard it first from your friendly neighborhood Sabertooth Tiger.
