Destiny as a whole is a PvP experience with a large amount of skill removed from the equation. From the incredible radar, to infinite grenades, starting with a power weapon, super abilities, incredible aim assist and so on, there are so many things in place to help out novice players. The crucible really isn't a place for highly competitive play, at least that's what the laundry list of training wheels designed into the game leads me to believe.
