Coordinates of Hossum are listed.

vaaxius goes to her room and gets her armor on, she makes sure that her weapons were all with her before heading to her skiff
-
The planet looks green all around from orbit, the planet covered in a tree canopy. Only one small area where some civilization can be seen looks suitable to land.
-
vaaxius begins to slowly land, being careful about it
-
A man approaches the ship once it lands.
-
vaaxius steps out, her mechanical eyes and lower arms whirling as they got used to the environment
-
You see him roll his eyes. "Assuming your another merc...?"
-
"Yes, but I do want to know more about the forest."
-
"This'll be the fifth time... but fine. Come, I'll explain over some of the town's tea."
-
"Sounds good, I will try to not be a bother."
-
"Mhm." He sits down and pours tea once you arrive at his house. "Do you know anything of the legends?"
-
"I only heard that it was sacred, I probably should have did some research before coming here."
-
"It's fine. You wouldn't have found much, we keep to ourselves. Would you like to hear it? It would likely be useful."
-
"If you don't mind. It could help me later on."
-
"Our elders teach that long ago, the forest ruled these lands. The trees walked and talked and the plants ran rampant with power. According to this same legend, all life on this planet arose from the same tree. When this tree died, a single sapling was left in its wake. To protect this sapling while it grew to its prime, the forest grew around us, leaving shrines at the four corners of the forest. These shrines are said to be the key to the hidden path that holds the sapling. If each one is given a specific offering, the path is said to open." He drinks more tea. "Also, it is said a chosen one will arrive, and only they will be able to progress into the hidden path. What that exactly means, I do not know." He takes another sip. "The ones who came before you, each took a different entrance, North, East, West, and South. I fear they've met a terrible fate. Please do not end up the same."
-
vaaxius drinks the tea with him, thinking about what he said "Do you think this chosen one would be the only one able to survive the forest?"
-
"Possibly. Others translate it quite literally, as if it's in the person's blood." He sips again, making a comment on how the tea is so good because it's procured from the leaves in the forest. "Anyway, speaking of blood, that is what must be offered at those shrines, according to the elders. Apologies if you still plan to pursue your mission."
-
"I've been through worse. Say, what's your opinion on the forest?"
-
"Only ever been far enough to harvest tea leaves. It's tranquil for that distance. There's a man in town who said he'd been to a shrine, but he's a drunk and not many believe his words."
-
"Hmmmm, sometimes the madmen speak the truth. It's happened before."
-
"You might be right. He's probably over at the bar."
-
"I'll go see him, lets hope that the serums I have can sober someone up."
-
"He's probably not too drunk yet. It's only 4:00."
-
"Great, I'll see you again sometime. Thanks for the tea." vaaxius finishes her tea and walks out the door, heading to the bar
-
"Anytime, drifter."
