[b]She sees a crown of people around the bar.[/b]

[b]vaaxius decides to visit the man who gave her information about the forest[/b]
-
[b]She walks in, seeing a few men dragging out the bartender's body.[/b]

"What happened here?" [b]vaaxius looks at the body, wondering what happened to him[/b]
-
[b]He has three bulletholes in his chest, and his pistol is out of its holster beside him.[/b] [b]A man taking the body speaks up.[/b] "That drunk cracked I guess. You think with all the time he spent here they'd have been friends... And where did he get a gun?"

"Shit...... It's my fault that he's dead. I gave the drunk one of my guns as a thank you for the information. Where is he?"

"Ok, I'll do it that." [b]vaaxius runs out the door and down the south forest pass[/b]

[b]You reach the area where the forest darkens, and feel a prick in the back of your neck.[/b]

[b]vaaxius turns around, wondering what it was[/b]

[b]You don't see anything, but when passively rubbing your neck, you notice a dart in it. The roots begin to move and the trees waver again.[/b]

[b]vaaxius pulls it out and moves her armor around so that her neck isn't exposed. She continues to move[/b]

[b]More aware now, the trees stop wavering. Everything seems normal, but you spot figures running sneaking through the words near you.[/b]

[b]vaaxius begins to walk to them, wondering what the were doing[/b]

"I don't think enough got in her... Dammit we'll have to kill her." [b]Some masked men rush at your with spears.[/b]

[b]vaaxius loads her shotgun with slugs and fires at them[/b]
-
[b]You hit one, surprising them, as they thought you couldn't see them.[/b] "Shit! Weapons free!" [b]They draw a variety of firearms, running to trees for cover then firing.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius gets behind cover, shs switches to her torch hammer and fires at them[/b]

[b]After a long firefight, you are under the impression you defeated them all.[/b]

[b]Looking around, you see all are dead, until you hear a noise behind you. A man has a rifle aimed directly at your head. You hear a bang and that man collapses to his side. Behind him is the drunk with your pistol.[/b]

[b]vaaxius looks at him with confusion[/b] "Why did you save me?"

"Listen to me... I know what it looks like, but you've got to let me explain..."

"Do it than, I didn't come looking for you because I was angry at you."

"I think a visual explanation would be best. Take off his mask." [b]He motions to the man he shot.[/b]
