"Maybe I should just leave. I probably spike more interest than lives I save."

"It's fine, I mostly want to learn about this world. Maybe the forest will understand that."

"Good luck."

"Thank you. If I don't make it back, keep this as a thank you for the information." [b]vaaxius hands him a shock pistol, heavily modified[/b]

"Thanks. I don't do much work anymore, but maybe it'll help."

[b]vaaxius nods as she gets up and walks to the door[/b]

[b]There are four paths leading to the forest. One at each corner of town. Which do you choose first?[/b]

[b]Astrid goes to the west path, taking in the sights[/b]

[b]Many thriving food plants, tea trees, and cash crops are growing, very close to eachother. It's appalling that they don't choke eachother out.[/b]

[b]vaaxius smiles as she makes sure that all her weapons were with her. She was ready for anything[/b]

[b]The perfect-for-export plants slowly fade as she goes deeper, the canopy making the forest almost pitch black even though it is midday.[/b]

[b]vaaxius switches her eye setting go one that enhances her vision on the dark[/b]

[b]As you persist on the path, your vision blues and your legs become tired.[/b]

[b]vaaxius sighs as she sits down, careful to not get herself killed[/b]

[b]Sitting only makes the things worse. Sleep creeps towards her.[/b]

[b]vaaxius sighs as she pulls out a adrenaline serum and injects herself with one[/b]

[b]You awake, feeling fine enough to walk. You still feel a little odd, however.[/b]

[b]vaaxius gets up and shakes her head[/b] "This forest is trying to kill me off, it won't happen until I know the truth of the place." [b]vaaxius begins to walk again[/b]

[b]You think you see roots moving in front of you, and begin to do many double takes. The trees waver as if there is a windstorm, yet there is not even a breeze.[/b]

"Ok, listen, I'm friendly. I'm not here to harm the forest."

[b]You get no response, and trip on a root soon after.[/b]
