Warlocks are ass.

Okay. Tell them I said : Warlocks are terrible, and if you can VALIDLY prove that they aren't. (I don't care what YOU did. I want facts.) then i'll leave right now.

First off, I only said that cuz I just thought it was funny that I am apart of a warlock only clan. Second off, although it may look like I have no opinion in the class matter as I have no titan currently. But actually I owned a titan for the entire first year and kept him up to level standards. But the second week kings fall was available, I deleted my titan as I never really felt the whole sunbreakers thing. Although they turned out to become unmatched in PvP (-blam!-ing finally, titans have been underpowered for too long) I deleted him because I primarily play pve and although hammer of sol can do damage, weapons of light is more useful in endgame situations, and I can always find a titan on lfg (especially since they have been growing in popularity) and coming back to life is way too valuable. I then founded the Whispering Coven because I could imagine a whole raid team of warlocks in a raid that fear no death for death is no issue. And yes you could say that warlocks take less skill because they can just carelessly die and come back while the others need to actually use cover. But that's just it. Being a warlock doesn't mean you lack skill, it means you are using your skills to your advantage. Sunsingers > Sunbreakers (Not that I actually feel this way, but I'm just ya know reversing your previous statement, I happen to love sunbreakers, but sometimes I want a warlock more). If you are in a strike, in a raid, at the very end of a mission, would you rather have a contingency plan or no plan B? If you die while your out there throwing hammers, who's gonna be there to save you? Of course in mission you can just clear out the room, but what if you are in a raid where all of your hammers can not kill as many enemies and your team needs your gunfire and there's a thirty second respawn timer or even no way to be revived? And I can not describe the feeling of relief that fill you when the team is wiped from nightfall and then somebody is like: "Don't worry, I've got this". Sunsingers also, even though it is frequently overlooked, after self resurrection, still have a period of grenade recharge increase which can still be used to the entire team's advantage. Hammer of sol, however is more usefull in PvP type situations if the warlock is using his subclass for self ressirection. But if the warlock uses radiance for just grenade and has gift of the sun, two fusion grenades can kill the titan with hammer of sol. Although you will most likely trade, it is very rare not to trade when two supers are clashing. Hammer of sol is very VERY powerful (and also very fun), but most of the time if prefer a defender on my team (especially in PvP when they use suppression grendes, weapons of light, and icebreaker in mayham, look it up it's crazy). Voidwalker > Nightstalker (I actually don't even remotely personally feel this way, I mean c'mon, that shadestep is so -blam!-ing cool) Only if the Voidwalker is using the ram could he compete with a hunter, and even then, have a boss, especially golgoroth, tethered is priceless. I wouldn't trade a hunter for a voudwalker ever. Although, I will say, if I already have a Nightstalker, and two light equivalent guardians (a Nightstalker and a sunsinger or even stormcaller) I would most likely choose the warlock depending on the hunter already on my team's light. In the end, however, you got me here. Stormcaller > Bladedancer (This one I actually believe in, sorry hunters. But just keep reading and you'll see my reasoning.) Range. Nuff said. But there are nay-sayers that still don't believe me, therefore, I'll elaborate. With a blade dancer, you are limited to being in the center of battle, where as warlocks can do mass damage while staying a good distance away. Even if you use the shockwave-type perk that will extend your range, it costs too much super energy per attack and takes more time then simple lightning. Stormcallers can also deal chaining damage with their super while hunters work on one at a time. Even using the shockwave and area of effect type perks, you still do less damage for more super energy. But this isn't all that bladedancers and Stormcallers compare with, for example: invisibility. You got me here man, I love to be a sneaky little bastard just as much as the next guy, but there are ways to solve this. Invisibility is mostly usefull for clutch revives, (outside of Crota but c'mon do you really need a 4th hit now that we're all level 40?) If you will take into account gear sets then reviving others clutchly then the warlock can use light beyond nemesis and sunsinger, therefore they can come back to life and keep in a constant sprint while reviving, but of course being invisible with Creasy is safer and just as effective but it can't save your team from the skull of death if you know what I mean. But since I am only comparing stormcaller with Bladedancer, then yes a Bladedancer is better for clutch revives. Grenades: I always like my stormcaller better. They have two awesome grenades (kill yourself pulse grenade, you just don't compare) that can both chain with a perk on the stormcaller tree (I can't remember it's name sorry) And my personal favorite Bladedancer grenade, the arcbolt, is available for Stormcallers with the bonus chaining. AND they have lightning grenades which are crazy good in pve. Don't get me wrong I love me some dancing with blades and my first character was a hunter. In fact, I had a fully upgraded Bladedancer subclass before I had a level 1 warlock. But after I started messing with both classes, I realized that warlocks are more useful. In conclusion, I love all classes. And if you actually read this far that's awesome, but I hope you take away the most important part: ALL THE CLASSES ARE EQUAL. Y'all are always bickering over who beats who, but that depends on skill, gear and level anyways, any we can all use the same guns, we all have the same max light, and you can have skill playing as any of them. I only made a warlock only class not because you're automatically the best if you play warlock, but because I like warlocks the most because I have fun with them. The goal of a game is to have fun, and coming back to life is fun for me. Call it cheap, call it annoying, call warlocks shit, but I have fun with em so that's all that really matters. Hope this was proof enough that I have every right to believe that warlocks are pretty damn awesome.

Well when you hide in your bubble I'll be there to shock you out of it and when you use sunbreaker I'll blind you then wreck you with stormcaller
-
Space magic is life
-
You honestly think that the purple ball of death is inferior to your little bow? Fool
-
-lower damage resistance -slower travel time -one use maximum - shit upgrades Tell me more about how Nova bomb is better.
-
So you're reassuring us all that hunter is the Ez mode scrub class
-
Shit upgrades? One that makes it 0 drop off and faster than your arrow. 1 that makes 3 at once, and another that's for Vortex. It has amazing upgrades. Not to mention yours not a 1hk if you're supering
-
Throw them on points or heavy ammo and boom. A four man.
-
I Rekt a Full Fireteam with Nova bomb no split projectile perk either (i dont even like warlocks)
-
I don't care what YOU did. Factually prove to me that warlocks are not terrible. Give me ONE thing other than dying that warlocks do better than another class?
-
Melee all day.
-
*cough* throwing knife has more range and more damage. It also takes more skill.
-
Range sure, but not damage. Can't even one shot on full health lol
-
Neither can Warlock's. But TK still does more damage than it.
-
Those knives track harder than truth
-
More skill than a thunderstrike from across the map lmfao
-
Notice how that thunder strike range is a perk hunters get their scrub knives set on fire. The ignorance that you posses is astounding
-
Read the melee bubble on your subclass, please?
-
Lol it has less range than blink strike. Don't let ingame stats fool you. Look at the last word for example. It's ok, you don't have to live in denial. Just get good
-
You make me laugh. Thanks.
-
They can mow down ads better than anyone, and act as a FoH+ranged Bladedancer. They can one-shot Sunbreakers. They can save entire team wipes/increase max armor (albeit not a huge accomplishment)/ support allies grenades/melee within AI. Also, good grenades and best melee range in game.
-
Other classes have better nades You don't have the longest range melee. Nor the most damage. I do, actually. Everything else you listed is either something a gun/other class can do, or something a player does. Not a class.
-
Hahahaha. He thinks bladedancer is better than Stormcaller. Hahahahahaha. Oh shit. You my friend are hilarious
-
Stormcaller is absolute shit for PVE. Bladedancers have invisibility.
