[b]Looking around, you see all are dead, until you hear a noise behind you. A man has a rifle aimed directly at your head. You hear a bang and that man collapses to his side. Behind him is the drunk with your pistol.[/b]

"Listen to me... I know what it looks like, but you've got to let me explain..."

"Do it than, I didn't come looking for you because I was angry at you."

"I think a visual explanation would be best. Take off his mask." [b]He motions to the man he shot.[/b]

[b]It's the man that greeted you when you first got to town.[/b]

"Those bastards..... They tried to kill me, I thought I could trust them....."

"Thank you so much... I've been captive for so long... They have me lure people like you in by spiking their interest, they have another man put up fake bounties.... They even use some hallucinogen poison. The last shrine would've required every drop of blood in your body, killing you. You have to help me stop them."

"How should we do that? Because I'm sure we can't take on the entire town."

"Good point..." "We could try to escape and then report it to galactic police... But they may have probably started stripping your ship by now. Dammit..."

"If they touch my skiff, I'm burning down their homes and this forest."

"That's the spirit. There may still be time. Wait here, I'll scout it out."

"Are you sure, you could need help."

"I've got it." [b]He sneaks off. A few hours later, he returns.[/b] "They've taken an engine. I can get it back easily, I know where they store the stuff. I need you to clear the ship bay."

"Sounds good, what weapons do they have?"

"Shotguns, rifles, pistols, and some experimental weaponry they've looted from other mercs."

"Than I think a few shanks would be useful."

"Do you have any on you?"

"They're in the cargo bay of my ship, I can activate them right now."

"Wait until you're there. You can activate them at the perfect time to pull off an excellent flank."

"Good idea, why do they do this though?"

"They're psychos. They burn huge urns of outsider blood in the center of town because they believe it keeps the forest alive."

"Interesting, lets see if their blood does the same."
