Having a bad time.
Dante was running out of time.
The dark wound his brother left behind had grown, and was starting to fester. It was only a matter of time before the darkness inside him completely overtook him. The voice of the darkness had gotten much louder, if Dante wasn't already crazy, he'd probably go insane. His inner demon taunted him as he fell to his knees, clutching his chest.
Hahaha.... Not long now boy. I wonder, how many will die by your hand?
"Shut... The hell.... Up........"
Dante started rummaging through the folds of his robes, frantically scrambling to find the journal of his father, Toland the Shattered. He found it, but the old time fell from his shaking hands. He scrambled to pick it up, only to watch as his brother's blade easily pierced through it's cover. The book started burning. Loose pages drifted off in the wind, engulfed in an unnatural, black flame.
"No!" Dante tried to reach out, but he could barely move. Vergil was looming over him, tapping the hilt of his sword impatiently.
"Finally... I get to see the face that killed my siblings."
Dante tried to respond. "Verg....... What...... I'm not......"
Vergil cut him off by putting the tip of his sword to Dante's neck. "My brother died the moment he murdered my sister..."
"..."
Suddenly, Dante's pupils shrank as his entire body started spasming uncontrollably. He yelled out in pain. The air around the two brothers seemed to distort. It was as if the entire area had lost all light, and everything was in monochrome.
Heheh... Goodbye, Dante.
Dante's head snapped upwards. His eyes were white, his skin was black, and his appearance was much more.... Demonic.
Without warning, a massive pillar of dark energy erupted and engulfed Dante. The wave of darkness was so intense, it was visible from orbit. Vergil was forced to take a few steps back.
"Damnit... Seems I've made a miscalculation.... I'm not ready for this...... Yet."
The blue robed warlock took his sword, and with it he cut a rift to an unknown location. He stepped through, leaving whatever was left of his brother behind.
(Open. Primarily to Vaax, but whoever else wants to jump in feel free.)

"Yeah, pretty much. You'll try to Take me, but fail since I've already been Taken before."
-
"Take you?... Ha... Ahahah.... No no no, you got me all wrong, lady."
-
"Really? Huh. That's what usually what happens. You sure?"
-
"Nah... Take you... Even if I could, where's the fun in that?"
-
"I dunno. I guess it's cool to make people do what you want to."
-
"I'm starting to get bored here..."
-
"Same."
-
"So. What's you're game, lady? You haven't tried to kill me, yet."
-
"What's yours? You haven't tried to kill me either."
-
"I'm waiting to see how long you take to notice those spears behind you."
-
"I've already noticed them. Waiting to see what you'll do with 'em. Also, are you like a Sith or something? I don't know anyone who can defy the laws of physics like that."
-
"This, coming from someone who can jump off of thin air, and create weapons made out of literally nothing..."

Edited by Riven: 11/23/2015 4:57:58 PM"Good point, but I prefer already-made weapons."
-
"Fascinating, I don't care."
-
"So how's your day?"
Love how I'm having a normal conversation with a thing.
-
"Aaand bored now." "Dante" flicked wrist, and the spears behind Serena shot forward.
-
She simply sidesteps and jumps, avoiding said spears. "Spears? Really? Such an old weapon. You're a old-timey fellow, huh?'
-
"I can't exactly make a reliable, working firearm with this stuff!" "Dante" generated more spears, which started to fall like rain from above.
-
She walks in circles, each spear falling just before her feet. "With what stuff? It's easy to make a Gun. I've made quite a few."
-
James watched it all unfold from a safe distance. He got within speaking distance. " You look a little worse for wear."
-
No reply. The storm around them only grew stronger.
-
" It's rude to not reply." James didn't seem concerned.
-
(Hypocrite - That One Warlock you didn't reply too)
-
Dante's gaze drifted slowly towards James. His head cocked awkwardly to one side.
-
" Looks like you're having a bad day."
