How good is regular raider armor compared to t45 armor (the first power armor you get)

Raider power armor Easy to upgrade - only requires a lil aluminum, 1 upgrade. Chest piece has a unique mod. It's good really low level when you don't have alot of materials. Gets outclassed quickly as you level. It's good for suiting up companions you leave at work stations when you have alot of frames.
