I think it makes sense for ib to drop equivalent gear to that of trials and the raid. It's once a month and its a group or solo experience . trials and the raid are weekly and require people to find and make teams . I don't have anything against them but I haven't done either or so this is the only way I'm able to stay in the game. At the same time though I'm not worried about light level because I usually just play strikes and normal pvp

I'm with you now. I had a semi regular group that I tried to do the raid with, and when we realized that the only reason to do the raid was to get gear that was only for the raid... Well, they quit. Ha ha I like the solo and small group stuff. It's as much fun or more so, and people don't get butthurt over goofing off and playing for fun in a strike, at least when they're in your group.
