Man where are the elemental burns? :(
Telesto should be fun to use though!
Recommended loadout:
Primary: Telesto
Secondary: Telesto
Heavy: Telesto
Telesto: Telesto

Black Spindle will be a viable choice, along with raid sniper, Telesto, perhaps even Chaperone? (Does the boss still stagger? Or do all enemies (including boss) not stagger?)

This actually sounds like a fun nightfall. No radar in that pit...phew sweating already lmao

Edited by PsychoticHumor: 11/25/2015 3:14:16 AMHaven't done it yet, but I'm using this thread to plan my strategy. [Revised] looks like I'm switching between telesto and a sniper until the boss, then its telesto only. Nightstalker with don't touch me and vanish?
-
Invective should suffice

Edited by BainidheDub: 11/24/2015 9:58:18 PMSince a lot of people are fussing about no radar, here's a tip: There's no burn, so use a solar class when you go down to kill the Dorkblade. Set up so that you get afterburns on nades and melee. Gunslingers: incendiary grenades, incendiary blade, and gambler's dagger (for extra knives). Sunsingers: viking funeral and touch of flame. Sunbreakers: incendiary grenade again, and melting point. The Dorkblade will be lit up like a 15 foot tall torch in a very dark place. And with three players doing it, he should be more or less continuously illuminated. Also, you can always turn your brightness up.

Why does everyone think telesto is good? It does terrible damage even on void burn and its a fusion rifle.
-
Guys here's a tip if your a year 1. When you get to the room full of adds and shriekers take out a patience and time and use the invisibility to get across. Aim when your about halfway down the first stairs
-
soled it earlier on my titan, got a 306 1k stare with triple and Firefly
-
It took me seven tries to get past the shriekers. Who said HoS armor is OP? That taken wizard melted me.

Alak hul Akbar

Maybe i will try that with my hunter almost soloed it untill some random friend i dont remember joined

Ice Breaker life even for its "weak" sauce state currently?

Edited by mgvertigo101: 11/24/2015 11:34:28 PMFirst part: Supercell Eirene Sol edge Boss part: Doom Telesto Rocket launcher Titan: striker Hunter: nightstalker with no backup plans OR gunslinger with celestial nighthawk, might switch to that at boss I don't know smoke vanish is nice when people are down

Edited by MindEntropy: 11/24/2015 10:56:49 PMSolod with ease. My typical solo loadout. Scout, sniper. Whatever heavy. I found bolt caster useful to quickly clear thrall. My reward was a 310 light behind nemesis. Trash.
-
IB left such a great impression on me. I got my Titan to 310 (with the rift stuff equipped) from the high LL gear drops. I feel like NF is going to be a slap in the face.
-
The nightstalker's ability to mark targets is going to be quite useful in the final area
-
I was at first shocked when I saw the modifiers as the loading screen started the narrative, then everything fell into place,"WTF were we thinking? No real rewards, good time to take anothet week off (recovering from Iron Banner)." But we did it, 3 people at my house (me + 9yr old son, and my 8yr old neighbor who still doesn't know his right from his left), a lot faster than the exotic sword quests - no wipes. I don't think we'll do more than one, though.
-
Got dark blades spite with Icarus and slide distance
-
I did it solo also pretty easily, took extra time to clear the two main areas, void rockets worked well on all the psion and wizards, but sniper for everything. The beserk modifier made it so that dark blade wouldn't teleport away very much so I just kept change sides of room and putting full clips of sniper into his head. Clear adds when they spawn and you'll have a 1 on 1 with boss which makes it easy. A trick to quickly clear cursed thralls is to run towards them and jump over them, they self explode
-
Darkblade...Chaff...I have feared this day would come
-
The one strike where radar is almost necessary to find and kill the boss we get chaffed in every meaning of the word.

Telesto<telesto

Gonna be dope when I watch my team score 310 exotics while I'm in the corner with a 298 Dealbreaker and 2 strange coins like I watch every week. Why do I even bother doing the nightfall anymore?

Does specialist go with Sleeper Simulant?
