Nightfall is ALAK-HUL (Darkblade) (The Sunless Cell)
Modifiers
Epic - Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
Berserk - Minions of the Darkness won't flinch, even after massive damage.
Specialist - Special Weapon damage is favored.
Chaff - Player radar is disabled.
Fresh Troops - Some enemy squads have been fortified with additional reinforcements.

4 RepliesEpic and Fresh Troops are Nightfall standard so I won't mention it beyond this. Skulls: Chaff-No radar means you gotta use your eyes. No light means you gotta use your ears. Listen for Darkblade's footsteps. Angry-Enemies aren't going to flinch. This won't be a problem, really. In fact, it'll keep shots lined up with those cursed thrall in the cell. Specialist-your special weapons are stronger and your other weapons are a little weaker. Bring a fusion rifle or a shotgun, unless you're really brave and want to snipe in complete Darkness. 1 ReplyActually myself and my fireteam used a sidearm for this weeks nightfall and it shredded everything and we had plenty of ammo instead of the 20ish shots you get with Telesto. Don't get me wrong I do like my Telesto but sidearms do some serious work in here too.

I soloed it with No Time to Explain, Stillpiercer, and Bretomart's Stand as a nightstalker. Swapped to a Thesan FR4 on the boss! Was pretty fun.

Used my "old" telesto the week it was void. Just got a 310 version from an engram. This can only end badly for the darkblade.

I consider small arms and specialist to be burns, but I do miss the elemental ones

Solo'd it with my hunter....didn't sit on the lights to beat the Darkblade, just DPS him, focus on the thrall, DPS again, focus on the thrall rinse and repeat and lots of running around. Wasn't that hard of a nightfall....just a little time consuming. For all that, I got the Titan helm (don't have a titan character) and a 307 ghost. Well....at least it was fun.
