I don't think Psycho has the effect.

It does. It gives you dmg res and 25% more dmg. You also yell something along the lines of "(Insert word or words) KILL!" I didn't know it had this affect until screwing around I popped it XD

I don't think I've ever popped psycho, so I suppose so.
