You're literally paying real life money for your character to do a 2-10 second action. You cannot justify this. You can make excuses and I'll post your excuses for being a child using their parents credit card below. When you pay for emotes you are showing AAA companies that they can take stuff out of their game that better games give for FREE and sell it. I understand the type of audience who buys silver....and that audience is classified as the casual gamer. Not real gamers.
I love how I make a spelling mistake because I'm human and since you guys have no real valid arguments to make you choose 1 grammatical error. Only proves my point that you don't know how to spend money wisely.
Excuse #1: It's my money.
Excuse #2: I make (put exaggerated amount of money made per year here) and I can afford it.
Excuse #3: Don't worry about my money! (They know they're wrong and are trying SO HARD to justify something that just isn't justifiable).
Almost 50 replies and only 3 poor excuses have been made. Proving my point again....
I think you guys have tired yourself out. I just had to sit through the snot nosed kids coming in trying to justify purchases for EMOTES...I legit think I have cancer now. Thanks Density.
To the kids who think that I'm poor...I make well over 250k a year. Money aint nutin. Because I know you guys still can't come up with any good logical reasons as to why you pay for emotes other than you like Bungie screwing you over. Still waiting on that person but I'm starting to lose hope that there will be someone who can explain it logically.
SOMEONE FOUND A LOGICAL REASON TO GET AN EMOTE!
Because Microsoft paid for it by giving me codes worth $5-$10
You guys disagreeing with facts have produced more salt than every single salt factory in the galaxiez.

I got heaps money I don't care 1500$ a week I can splash out on this game

I work, so therefore if I want to pay money to watch my Guardians do The Carlton or The Thriller dance because it makes me happy, then I'm gonna pay money.
-
Thanks for the laugh :)

God I hope this is satire cuz this is -blam!-ing sad

Edited by What I Look Like: 11/26/2015 5:24:54 PMLmao you're so stupid... call me a child and say I use mom's credit card? So if I tell you my credit card info is plugged into my Xbox 1 (that I paid for), that's an excuse? Lol but.. a question. Who exactly are those of us that got emotes trying to prove anything to? I only commented because this made me chuckle haha..

It's called disposable income. It's money left over after paying bills and whatnot that we have to splurge. Being that I pay my own bills, I couldn't give a rat's ass about others' opinions about how I spend that money.
-
lmao so butthurt
-
If emotes are wrong I'd rather not be right.
-
Does anyone really care?, I mean REALLY CARE what someone else does with their own money....
-
I'm 13 I guess that means I'm a kid but anyways I bought the emote thriller because Michael Jackson is awesome and it's funny it's my loss if I waste my money on a virtual game but I honestly don't care so good bye! And merry thanksgiving

I usually hit Starbucks twice a day so that's about $10. If I drive to work that's $25 for the day. If I don't bring lunch to work that's $10 a day. Lots of days it's all three of these things. When you grow up, get a job, start paying bills, raising a family, etc etc etc. You will realize the $5-$10 people spend on emotes is nothing and just for fun.

Being a 3D animation student, I can appreciate the animation quality that Bungie has...I don't mind paying for the ones that I like, if for nothing but appreciation of a top notch animator.

Edited by Paramortal21: 11/26/2015 3:05:05 PM1. Shutting everyone down because you believe your opinion is the holy grail is making you seem like the most self-entitled, stubborn prick on the forums. Learn how to counter arguments efficiently before you come here spewing pathetic backlashes at everyone. 2. Your excuse #2 claims that people are exaggerating their salaries, yet 2 paragraphs later, you claim to be making over 250k a year. Hypocrisy at its finest. 3. Taking valid arguments and hanging up them up for display so you can laugh at them does not discredit them in the slightest, it only displays your inability to counter any argument with anything other than unfounded criticism. 4. You can never counter any argument by saying "TL;DR, my argument is still valid." Just because you don't have the mental capacity to read anything past 2 sentences doesn't mean you're right. It just says you're illiterate. Feel free to add to the list.

Why are you so concerned with what others are doing? You sound like a child yourself. You need the tantrum emote. Would be fitting.
-
Can you summon all zombies to get down like me?
nope
-
If you have fun using the emote , then it is justified
You're literally paying real life money for your character to do a 2-10 second action. You cannot justify this.
I'm just laughing at the notion that I somehow have to justify what I spend 5 dollars on.
-
I'm not a kid, and I buy emotes because they're funny and I can afford it
-
TL;DR Only children/kids make frivolous purchases.
Dafuq?

Well they say time is money, and I feel like applying for food stamps after spending a few seconds reading that waste of a rant. Go groom a golden doodle or some pissed off raccoon.
-
only way im getting emotes is if i get silver for free or some shit

Some people are poor
