The point is, buying silver actively makes gaming worse for everyone else. Here's what happens, we've already seen this in the mobile space, we KNOW this is how it works: Microtransactions are added purely as a cosmetic. They are popular enough that companies look at ways to expand it. Microtransactions are then added that change the game, not merely cosmetic. This is the infamous "pay to win", scheme. The final step is where playing the game is actively hindered unless you pay extra. "Oh, we're so sorry, you can't do that for 24 hours... Unless you want to buy some of our diamonds. For 200 diamonds, you can do that right now. Oh. But we only sell them 500 at a time..." If you persist in buying Silver, this is the road you're putting us on. We know this because the items are already in the database... "Oh, you already ran the Nightfall this week? No worries, buy a Vex Chronospanner and you can re-run the Nightfall and get rewarded again!"

  • Wow you're the only person out of around 100 who doesn't have their head shoved so far up their rectum they don't know if it's day or night.

  • Most of the kids on here don't care because like you say, they don't pay the bills. But if they think buying Silver isn't going to make things like the Vex Chronospanner happen that much faster they're fooling themselves. Then that opens the door for other games and other companies because "Hey, Bungie did it in Destiny..." Do you think for a minute that Ubi wouldn't do the same with Assassin's Creed? Look at Halo 5: http://www.nowgamer.com/microsoft-is-making-hella-cash-from-halo-5-microtransactions/ This is a dangerous road and Silver is only encouraging it. I didn't even spend the 400 "free" silver I was given.

  • Ubisoft has already done it with Assassin's creed. Even the new Tomb Raider is doing it. The real gamers who care about the industry are losing the battle to the casuals who blindly throw money at the screen.
