Trigge was asking about the attainability, or lack there of, concerning the Fate of All Fools grimoire card, not merely the attainability of the actual weapon or the Jade Rabbit Y2 PSN exclusive, which is essentially the Fate of All Fools Y2 remake. If one researches the Fate of All Fools scout rifle, there is a rationale that existed in Y1 for not allowing this weapon to be obtainable by anyone beyond the one player it was gifted to. In Y1, a player who was recovering from brain surgery and used Destiny for his recuperation regimen was gifted the weapon and was the sole player to have access thereto. The grimoire card appeared in everyone's primary weapon section, so as to inspire some degree of solidarity with the player. Unless Bungie comes up with a better idea concerning that end, I seriously doubt the grimoire card will be culled out of our attainable grimoire card list. However, Bungie has given PSN access to the Y2 Fate of All Fools, rebranded as the Jade Rabbit, to allow the PSN side of the community to have access to essentially the same weapon. I doubt we would have seen such a rebranding of the weapon if Bungie has a viable alternative strategy to encouraging solidarity with the player, while giving a wider access to the weapon, retooled to Y2 values.
