Yes, it is satire. But remember that situation with the measles epidemic because of those idiot parents who wouldn't vaccinate their kids? Causing us to contemplate government taking authority from parents to solve the crisis? Know how many deaths that resulted in? Zero. There has been one measles death in recent years - an adult woman who was vaccinated as a child. I agree kids should be vaccinated. I do not agree government can or should meddle more in family life than it already does, including indirect arm-twisting or pariah status.
