Treads Upon Stars roll

Hi everyone. I had a quick question regarding the Treads Upon Stars scout rifle. I have gotten a couple but think I got a pretty good roll on the one I have equipped on my main Hunter. My question is, would you guys use small bore or perfect balance for the middle tree? If you can, let me know why you chose one perk over the next. Thanks!

Perfect Balance. Scouts already have stupid range inherited from its weapon archetype. There is barely any damage drop off. You will be missing more those extra bullets and reload speed. Mine's got a sick roll too. I love grenadier in all my PvE weapons.
