If I'm trying to use a sniper after sprinting, I'm likely doing it wrong, anyway. They're not meant to be used in that way. I guess it depends on how much of a delay they were placing on them. Still, it'd be less than a second, so I personally wouldn't be complaining about it. If I'm shooting out of sprint, I'm doing it with a primary. I don't see it being a massive problem for snipers. Snipers aren't blinking/sliding around, and shooting as soon as they exit the animation.
Reducing shotgun range is a nerf. I can't really see it in any other way. If a weapon is being changed, so that it's harder to use, it's being nerfed. You can balance something and it still ends up being a nerf.

I use a shotgun and I can honestly say it needs a range reduction but there's plenty of times your running with the sniper equip and someone pops up near you. You gotta stop and aim real quick right? I personally think that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard coming from a nerf

Edited by NathanW18: 12/1/2015 3:35:20 AMIt can happen, but it means I had the wrong gun equipped. I would also not expect to win the gun fight in that scenario. I can't run around with a sniper and get quickscope kills consistently. Neither can the vast majority of the player base. You can obviously get lucky now and again, but it's not consistent. That being said, I wouldn't expect Bungie to ever nerf snipers in this way. People are not sniping like this. People may use them as primaries, but they're not running into multiple guys at once and quickscoping everyone.

Yeh I see where your going. Tbh f*ck weapon rebalancing. Fix subclasses. Fix subclasses. Fix subclasses. That's what they should worry about. And not even the sunbreaker. All the other ones.
