But why? In-game voice chat is barely used in favor of the chat system on the console itself. Matchmaking had to be sort of a watch and learn thing because can't really know how it would affect the game. I don't blame them for not having matchmaking for end-game content at launch. A lot of games today still don't have color vlind options, either. It's sort of on the developer wether or not they want to take the time to include that. Bungie did it because we wanted to. They never had to. They could have ignored the community like everybody loves to say they do. And Xur was implemented poorly in the way it reset your progress. If we look at just using Xur to upgrade and look past the progress reset, that's something Bungie has never done previously and was definitely experimentation. And it was changed because we disliked the process.
My original reply is not supposed to be about whether or not this content should have existed at launch. My reply was to show how Bungie does actually listen to the community. They do listen and implement things. The problem is that Bungie can't implement every little want this community has, so they receive undue backlash for it.

They take too long to fix important things such as the Thorn issue last year yet nerf weapon parts for no reason at all other than to place a artificial ceiling on progress to make the game, "last" longer. They seem to have time to create emotes to sell for cash yet cannot find the time to create more actual content (Halloween thing was garbage). You must realize that the emote creating stuff is just some crap knocked up by an employee in a spare 10 minutes he/she had? Just a matter of changing a few paths in the already saved animation model. I love this game for many reasons but I despise Bungie's lack of ethics and it is close getting to a point where my dislike for Bungie's practices outweighs my like for the game.
-
Aaaawww! Halloween was good, something different to do than the actual gameplay and you got nice mask :D
-
Maybe they dont wanna "fix" what "you" deem needs fixing. People cry on here about "why is bungie so slow fixing sunbreakers??!!" When they stated at the beginning it was fine where it was at but they were watching it.
-
Maybe they dont wanna "fix" what "you" deem needs fixing.
They did fix it, it just took them 6 months, I played WoW and they hot fixed an OP ability in 15 mins but 6 months it took Bungie to sort out the Thorn issue. Anyhoot, take your snotty attitude elsewhere or discuss things properly.
-
Lol you accusing other people of having snotty attitudes? That's rich.
-
Well they have stated they like the idea of seasons and having dominant weapons for a duration. I get what you mean though about taking so long. There is a John Weisnewski (the head pvp weapons guy if you dont know) interview him explaining why that took as long as it did. I very much recommend listening to the whole thing. Lots insight on why things are done like they are. There is a Luke Smith interview too that explains alot. Planet Destiny podcast amyway You very well could've already listened to them but throwing that out there. Seems lots people dont know theyre there. I guess i give them benefit of the doubt and you can see they care about the game and they arent the evil people that is claimed.

They haven't listened to the one most Important single thing this game needs....
-
Which is?
-
If you don't know by now it's not my problem. Should be blatantly obvious though.
-
Edited by Rokon: 12/2/2015 9:56:41 AMYou made the claim that they haven't listened to the "one must important single thing" so you should be able to tell me what it is. So you're either lying or you don't know.
-
Dude, what's the one thing this game is desperately needing? What current connection are we playing on, what's the protocol? As I stated, if you don't know it's not my damn problem.
-
Edited by Rokon: 12/2/2015 10:00:43 AMJudging by your vague post, I'm willing to wager that it's not really all that important or you don't actually know. If you're referring to content, then you wouldn't have been the first. Content is fine on a game like this because no matter how much they would offer it would never be enough.
-
Edited by Zero One: 12/2/2015 10:09:15 AMThe content is another topic. Think about this, New players are spending 60 dollars for a game when only 1/4th of it is relevant, it would be better if everything was relevant.... Still though they can fix all the bugs, glitches etc... Still will be missing a key component to a stable game. The fact that I mentioned the connection protocol and you're still acting like an airhead goes to show YOU don't know what I'm talking about.
-
You mean the p2p connection? No need to be vague.
-
Omg.... That's apart of it.
-
So...the thing you paid a lot for minimal shits?
-
Edited by TomandJerry4872: 12/2/2015 12:43:29 PMThe lack of servers? This isn't a guessing game. Just say it or stop.

Edited by enderjs: 12/2/2015 5:46:36 PMHahahaha. Your conversation with Soulja pretty much sums up everything wrong with most of the people on this forum bashing Destiny. Soulja and other immature idiots, "Fix everything!!!, it's all crap." Bungie, "We wanna make a good game, please tell us in a reasonable way what needs to change and explain why so the change impacts the ENTIRE community in a positive way" Idiots, "Well if your too stupid to figure it out. I am not going to tell you"
-
It's vote to boot option from the forums. That's what's missing. The guys obviously being vague and beligerant to prove that point.
-
It's been over a year, the problem is blatantly obvious every damn day. Only took three hours for someone to say it.
