Aim assist is how much the reticle slows down when aimed over a Targets precision hit box, latency issues cause that hit box to be extended making seemingly impossible shots, possible. Bullet magnetism is not affected by Aim assist.
[spoiler]aim assist is needed in a 30 FPS game like Destiny. Also Y1 snipers had more Aim assist than Y2 snipers so why do you guys pick now to bitch about snipers and aim assist?[/spoiler]

Do you not see the montages of people hitting shots no one could normally hit? It's ridiculous. Maybe the sniper has something else in it to do that. Either way, it doesn't require skill
