Saber News Stories 12-2-15

Welcome back to another edition of Saber News Stories. In last week’s coverage we spoke about the hopefully one time only Clash edition of Iron Banner and how its success rate seemed very sub-par compared to its regular Control. We also introduced another new product that we hoped help Brighten your day. It sure did mine in light of a certain someone’s (cough) Tony (cough) shenanigans with the prompter. Well this week we are going to do our segment a little bit differently. This time we are going to talk about two topics that have been spotted in the forums that are on many Guardians minds. The first topic is an idea on being able to purchase from Xur in app, and the second topic is something many people are wanting which is the ability to be able to do “makeovers” for your Guardian. And finally we have yet another great product that is sure to get rid of the clutter in your life. Well let’s get to it shall we. Xur in App Purchasing Awhile back someone had posted a topic over giving us the option to be able to purchase from Xur through the mobile app. At first this idea brought more negative attention because people felt that it would mean that they didn’t have to log into the game anymore to buy from him or other vendors. What they did not understand was that the idea was to simply be able to purchase items from him through the app but you would still have to get onto Destiny to retrieve said items. This would actually be a great idea if put into use because not everyone can get on during weekends sometimes, whether it be due to illness, work, or just going out of town that week to see what the Sun actually looks like. An idea for how this function could work is this. First log into the app when Xur comes, click on Vendors where he is, take your pick of items and hit buy. Simple and easy then all you have to do is log into Destiny and simply go to your Postmaster where he will be holding your items. This all sounds like a great idea but it is not as popular as our next topic so we don’t think Bungie will be implementing this feature anytime soon. Cosmetic Modifications in the Tower Now we all know that after a while we get bored looking at the same old facial features of our Guardians. Since when you create your Guardian the, hair, facial features, and skin color are set in stone many Guardians have asked Bungie to fix that. By fix that they mean do like GTA and other games that have Cosmetic changing features where you can go and add facial hair, completely change your hair style, and sometimes skin tone. Facial hair being one of the more prominent ideas asked for Bungie actually stated that being able to Cosmetically change your Guardian might be in the works somewhere down the Road. When though, we do not know, but damn it will be nice to finally take that green eye liner off my Titan. Well there isn’t much to talk about when it comes to this subject since it’s pretty self-explanatory but something many Guardians want. Well now onto our weekly product that should help remove the clutter in your life. What to Do About That Clutter Are you tired of coming home from a long day at work and wanting to rest only to see a cluttered mess? Feeling unorganized or simply need a place to hide that Adult Omnigul Doll from your girlfriend? Well allow me to introduce to you the Voidwalker: Nova Series Storage Unit. This device that’s roughly the size of your standard cardboard box can hold just about anything and any amount as well. Remember that magical bag that Hermione Granger had in Harry Potter that held all her books, potions, and even a tent…ya it is just like that except without magic. A built in scanner, scans whatever item you are planning to store and begins to shrink said item down to the size of an Atom and stores it into specially designed compartments that you program into the Unit. Damn where was this thing when I needed to hide all my adult magazines… haha just kidding but it could help those of you that do have a stash. When you want to retrieve an item, the unit uses a voice recognition sensor as well as a touch screen so you can choose what you want to pull out. Just be very careful around Ghosts, Pets, and especially nosey children. I can’t tell you how many times I have lost my little cousin while playing hide and seek with him. How much you may ask, well it’s definitely affordable at the low price of $56.89. Warning: Do not use to store foods or living things. Announcements We have a few announcements before we end our segment. First off we hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and also starting next week our news segment will probably be posted during the weekend for a couple of weeks due to college finals. Our first announcement is that Challenge Mode is finally here and it is Warpriest this week and it has been dropping 320 Artifacts for Hard Mode completions but people are already complaining that it is way too easy. Our next announcement is just a friendly reminder to prepare yourself for the December Update because it is coming. Well next Tuesday I will be turning 24 yay me. Well that’s all we have for this week’s Saber News Stories. Don’t forget to check out our elder brother station Unofficial Weekly Update anchored by MurdiusMaximus every Thursday. Remember you heard it first from your friendly Neighborhood Sabertooth Tiger. Also feel free to join our Saber News Group where you can come up with stories like these and talk with our members to get insight on how to make your story a good one.
