[b]Corruption[/b]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[b]Hours after the Cyprus crew had found a new cruiser, alerts from all over flooded in
Distress beacons, everywhere
Planets had fallen to Phazon, entire eco systems corrupted and turned into hellish monsters, bent on corrupting the Universe
And worst of all:
Alerts of Minerva raiding military compounds, after they had just killed her
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Distress calls flooded trhe Cyprus cruiser
Ten entire planets, reports of massive "Leviathans" smashing into the planets, corrupting them hours after impact
Entire civilization where evacuated, the distress calls sent out into space
Nothing could be done for the planets, except destroy them, but eve then that would prove fatal, since it would send chunkc of Corrupted rock into space, and possibly hit more planets
The only thing the Cyprus crew could do, was watch, watch as planet after planet fell hours after the Leviathans struck them...[/b]

Now what the -blam!- is this shit? [b]Jace throws his hands up flippantly[/b] Didn't we just kill her? And now entire planets are falling? The hell?

*Silver watches the feed from his HUD. "This isn't good." *he immediately gears up, and prepares to move out. Contacts someone over his helmet "Yes. I know. Don't worry, I can do this. I'll remember. Thanks, Dark Storm." *starts to leave

[b]you see Delta walking towards the hanger in her now heavily damaged armor[/b]

"Delta? What do you think you are doing?"

"I'm going to the hanger"

"Mind if I join? I could use the walk."

"I don't mind" [b]she starts walking[/b]

*follows "So, did you hear? Apparently Minerva is alive. Just when I started to relax." *looks at Delta's cracked armor, then quickly looks forward "Why in such a hurry? You expecting someone?"

"I'm expecting a delivery from some friends"

"Interesting. May ask what kind of delivery? Or is that Classified?" *sees a large crack in the visor. Looks slightly surprised

"Slammed me against the ground face first" [b]we get to the hanger and you see a large human sized crate with an ONI insignia on it near a pelican with a few marines standing around it armed with assault rifles[/b]

*looks at the crate with interest, then at the marines. "Interesting. The UNSC doesn't usually send soldiers this far out. Must be important."

"Yep" [b]she walks towards them and waves them off. The marines get in the pelican and leave. She starts pulling the crate towards her quarters[/b] "Mind helping me with this it's a little heavy even for me"

*helps pick it up, and starts moving with Delta "You would think that they would at least put it on wheels."

"ONI doesn't like making things easy" [b]you and Delta arrive at her quarters and she opens the door[/b]

*walks inside with the crate, and sets it down "So, want to open it up and see what ONI is making all the fuss about?"

[b]she rips it open revealing a set of modified mark 5 Spartan armor along with a UNSC sniper rifle and rocket launcher[/b] "I was wondering when they'd send me my mark 5 armor"
