Bungie: "The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected" 12/04/2014

[quote]Bungie Weekly Update 12/04/2014: "In the months to come, your quest to become more powerful will have more avenues that lead to satisfaction. The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete. Since the reveal, we’ve read a lot of ideas for how this could have been done better. Your feedback is clear: The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected." • IN -blam!-ING YEAR 1. Not once they say anything about using the same shit for the next 10 years; though that's partially Bungie's fault for creating such powerful weapons in Year 1, instead of, say, slowly increasing stats and such as time went on. TDB still had the best Exotic Upgrade system, IMO. Sure, I'm probably the only one who thinks that, but it made you decide whether or not you really wanted to spend the resources and time it took to evolve your gear along with the game. Now, it's exactly the way it was back then: Only Exotics are continuing into Year 2, and in steady increments.
