Of coruse there's always gonna be this argument. This isn't the majority of the community either. But yes that's the general reason. Imagine if with every DLC and major update you had the same load out each and every time.
You would never change.

"You would never change." So? Why should I have to change to experience new content? So what if I tackle the new raid with the same guns I used in the previous one? So what if I use the same armor I used in Year 1 to experience Year 3 content? I'll help you out here with the sad truth: The reason you must change is because there's so little content the only thing to do is chase gear. Ironic isn't it - that they are so focused on making you chase new gear that they invalided both previous raids and a slew of other content. If they would focus on the content and not the gear chasing, we'd be running cross country instead of on a treadmill.

If that's the supposed flaw you wanna use then the same could be said about every other game. I personally would get tired of using VoC for the next few years and I'd stick to it because really there's no other reason to use other guns. In terms of content, the content is definitely enough if it's been able to hold the attention of so many people for this long.

You should use the weapons you like, and enjoy the experience. Not be forced to use guns you don't like because they have a higher number than the others you have.

Edited by LighterThanSome: 12/4/2015 1:31:35 AMThat's what some people in this community think. Is it best? Probably not. I'm certainly not forced to use guns at the moment. If we still had Y1 weapons I'd say different.
