You said it yourself, it's at 170 attack. It's useless for any Year 2 activity.

Bullshiz. Works just fine.
-
No it doesn't. Idiot.
-
Oh yeh. How so? And why does that make me an idiot? I can equipp it and its shoots the same as it always did besides the small fieldscout fix.
-
Haha I can't believe I'm having this discussion. Good luck finishing the new raid with a scout rifle at 170 attack. If you even manage to find a fireteam that is stupid enough to let you play with them. Oh, try doing that secret black spindle mission with it! You're gonna do so much damage, right?
-
Why would i use it in the kings fall raid since it has orcal disrupter perk? And ive done my 3 spindles a long time ago. Smh. Im not even gonna bother listing the thousands of uses it still has. Just because it dosent do well in the raid or a one gun for it all does NOT make it obsolete. Every gun has a purpose or does well in some activities more then others. Its the way the game was designed. If ya got ya head out ur arse u might realize this. Smh.

If you can't realize that a 170 attack weapon is worse than any other Year 2 weapon in Year 2 activities, you're the one who should get your head out of your -blam!-ing ass. Year 1 weapons are for Year 1 activities and there's no reason to do any of those activities anymore. Who gives a -blam!- if you already have Black Spindle? I was talking about the mission to get it, NOT the -blam!-ing gun itself. Year 1 weapons in Year 2 activities is nothing but a huge disadvantage, that's a fact, and you're a -blam!-ing idiot if you think otherwise. If you're just going to counter my arguments with bullshit like "Why would I do that mission, I already have that weapon," or "I don't use it on that raid because it has oracle disruptor and that's useless in King's Fall," you are just completely ignoring my point. You're doing less damage with a Year 1 weapon. It's not about already being done with a certain mission or what perks the -blam!-ing weapon has, it's about the damage. Get it through your -blam!-ing head.

Ok and? The gun still functions as it always has. It has always done that amount of damage. U people act like all y1 stuff got nerfed. It did not. All they did was ADD higher light items and higher level enemies. Its y2 gtf over it. Y1 is over. But not gone. U still have the choice to use what u want. Yes their are smarter options but u dont have to use them. Matter of fact my raid team will beat hm kings fall today with year one guns just so i can prove a point to ya dumb mfkers. Ill b back.
-
I never even complained about them leaving the guns behind, what the -blam!- are you talking about? All I said was that they're a disadvantage at Year 2 activities and pretty much useless because there's so many weapons with higher attack. Go ahead and use Year 1 weapons in the hard mode raid. I never said it was impossible. I said disadvantage. Have fun!

Granted that your light level is 280+ you can still equip Year 1 weapons and run any of the activities, you will notice the decrease in damage due to the weapons attack power but it'll still kill people. Personally I don't think that Vision of Confluence compares to many of the Y2 scouts. Tread Upon Stars and Not Like the Others for example. They have the same spec as VoC but like my favourite Y1 scout (Crusader IV) has explosive rounds and Grenadier. Plus I never liked full auto on the VoC. For one it took them so long to fix the glitch where it would just stop shooting. 2nd I don't like loosing damage for the only benefit being laziness. I'd much prefer loss of damage (same impact) due to explosive rounds. Personally I like the collecting and until the bring the Vault to Year 2, I've had a lot of fun, learning new weapons. The only thing I'm missing is a fusion rifle with grenadier for PvP. Something like "Long Far Gone", which I picked up from the vanguard vendor. Anyway that's my take on it, moving on is fun, you get to start collecting again and branch out in your gun varieties rather than VoC and Fate bringer, Blackhammer, Ice Breaker and Gjally.
