I remember the whole mess after tdb and how these forums exploded with complaints on the route they took for our gear. Then they do some damage control and give us this statement and when they released HOW they admitted their mistake by allowing us to progress our gear lol.

Itll be year 8 and people will posts quotes like this and complaining. I guess people dont read patch notes, interviews, podcasts when the developers give insight and change the direction. God forbid they change their plans !!!!

God forbid people want to enjoy game. Why remove content and replace it with half of what you removed? Makes a lot of sense. A change of plans is perfectly fine as long as its going to add to the game.

Exotics are coming back and were held off so we use new stuff. As for legendaries ... why the -blam!- would you wanna use fatebringer till the end of time? Like this boggles me that people wanna bring their y1 guns to use now and forever. Sounds boring as -blam!-

All your opinion. Maybe other players don't want to feel like their time was wasted playing hundreds of hours to get a weapon & then it is rendered useless a couple of months later

Why do you have an issue with someone who plays the game how they feel? If someone wants to carry a weapon over the span of destiny and thats their reason for playing, why is that a bad thing? Why is having an option to hold on to something old, or move on to something new a bad thing? I would think having multiple choices would be a good thing... but I suppose some people enjoy being spoon fed rather than having an individual choice.
