But it has a transmog system, which has been requested since launch, as well as a sizeable amount of content each expansion. And let's not forget a sense of progression.

  • Yeah I really loved when they brought in Transmog. I never felt progression was there in that game. Anytime an expansion comes out, all of your gear is left behind. All of it. Even when you're doing the PvP stuff, they're always coming out with new seasons of gear.

  • The gear in WoW pretty much equates to statholders. This makes it easier to move on because the gear gets better. And with Transmog you get to keep your looks, adding some value to older content. In Destiny, the only gear pieces which are statholders are the armour, class items, Ghost Shells and artifacts. The weapons are not statholders. If they were, the gear in TTK would be better than Vanilla, not five times worse than PoE. The lack of Transmog makes this worse since in order to be effective you have to look like a Thrall's vagina (Infusion is too broken to be considered a valid option). With the exception of NTTE, there is no incentive to play the older content since you get nothing of use, and the Light Level's so low that it isn't fun or challenging. If the content was relevant, there would be much more to do: 9 weekly Raids Up to 9 PoE runs 3 flawless runs Instead it's just: 3 weekly Raids 3 flawless runs And a bunch of content that's essentially a waste of money
