This exactly! Stop modeling player behavior, shape it but don't "model" it. If I earn a weapon that I like then why can't I just use it and keep it current? It tells me you are purposely invalidating progress to keep the wheel spinning. If the only wheel you have left to spin is re-introducing old exotics and a few new ones...then you probably should just stop now....you are -blam!-ed. Just go free to play and suck off the ignorant for that short time cash like the new Clancy joint.
