I feel your pain.
I was living with my grandmother for a while after I graduated high school and had a pre-op transsexual that got obsessed with me. One of the most awkward conversations I ever had in my life was the time I had to explain to my poor grandma that the nice "Casey" girl that kept calling the house was really a dude.
