I am admittedly far too excited for Peregrine Greaves and MIDA to come back. That was my favorite combo, but I'm going to find it hard to decide on kicking EVERYTHING's face in, or basically breaking the land speed record for a bipedal object. I mostly want Dunemarchers so I can rub it in Hunter's faces that they really aren't the fastest class.

What are dunemarchers? Is that a new exotic coming soon?

Edited by CAD1420Z: 12/5/2015 9:23:13 AMThe Dunemarchers are a revealed exotic that increases sprint speed, extends slide distance, and tightens turn radius while sprinting for Titans. They are, singularly, the most broken movement based Exotic in the game. Combine it with MIDA Multi-Tool? Speed limits? What are those?
-
WHAT ARE THOSEEEEEEE????
Joking. Sounds pretty sick. Hopefully when they are added you get lucky enough to ran them. Going to have to try those on my striker w/ a MIDA too
-
I'm going to break the land speed record for a bipedal creature once I get those, my Y2 MIDA, and Headstrong's new faster sprint speed.
-
You do know if you are using a MIDA with lightweight the perk is broken. If your going to try break the sound barrier, walk. Don't sprint. The +2 agility only works while walking, so you will be quicker walking than sprinting.

Edited by CAD1420Z: 12/5/2015 9:58:06 AMY2 MIDA might have the perk fixed. Of course, the MIDA is my preferred weapon. The extra movement speed is a standard perk and even carries over to the sprint, albeit it's only slightly faster than walking. If that.
-
Last time I checked walking with a MIDA was faster. Lightweight is broken, but may be fixed as you said. As for the main perk, I never tested it for sprint.
-
I found the speed difference negligible, but slightly faster sprint (or brain playing tricks on me) when MIDA was equipped versus any other weapon. the speed boost is an inherent perk (was before it was made one, too!) and is active regardless.
-
Wait, to clear this up, the MIDA Multi Tool agility bonus is functional on both sprint and walk, but as far as I can feel walking is faster because lightweight is broken.
-
If you walk it is marginally, ever so slightly faster than sprinting. Dunemarchers and Headstrong would even it out (if not break it entirely) once both are available.
-
They may fix lightweight soon anyway
-
And you never know, they may fix lightweight so its the same for both walking and sprinting

They lost that title once Titan skating was discovered. But with this update, it's salt it the wound.
