This one is called the Great Irish Elk, and it was one of the, if not the, biggest species of deer that ever lived. Native to Ireland, they were 2.1 metres tall and weighed nearly a tonne. There antlers grew up to 2 metres in diameter.
They appeared 400,000 years ago, but the most recent remains found in Siberia dated back to 7700 years ago. And plus, humans aren't the reason they went extinct! Natural selection and their antlers being to big for the Irish landscape are the reason they died out.

Edited by YerSpookyGrandad: 12/7/2015 4:58:42 PMHOMO ERECTUS Homo Erectus, or 'Upright Man', were the ancestors of us humans. They lived 1.9 million years ago, although recent findings show that they might have lived up to 70,000 years ago. They lived in Africa, and gradually spread around the world. They were roughly the same height as us. Most of them were wiped out in the Toba Super Eruption. They used stone tools. FUN FACT: Us humans, Homo Sapiens, or 'Wise Man', are very anatomically to our Homo Sapiens ancestors. These days we are of a lighter build, and have less muscle due to our dependence on technology, and because we don't have a physically demanding lifestyle anymore.

You know what rhymes with sloth?

Triceratops My favorite Dino ^_^. Apparently it is now believed that Triceratops had quill-like spikes on its tail to defend from an attack from behind. It is also now believed that is was partially carnivorous.

Edited by YerSpookyGrandad: 12/7/2015 4:59:35 PMSHORT FACED BEAR This beast lived in North America 800,000 years ago. It went extinct 11,700 years ago. It isn't known on why and how it went extinct, although it probably has something to do with human expansion into their hunting territory. A massive creature, it was 3.65 metres tall on its hind legs. It weighed one tonne, and was omnivorous. It hunted big game, and could run faster than a race horse, in a similar fashion as a cheetah.

The most extinct animal of all (yes, even though they are technically all gone, certain things can be more extinct than others. It makes perfect sense if you don't think about it), the Thirstless Teenager. Once a mighty species who roamed the internet, the overpopulation of attention seeking sloots and pornography has dwindled their numbers down to 0 aka entinction

Probably moas.

The Tasmanian Tiger. A carnivorous mammal found in the island of Tasmania, Australia. It was hunted to extinction and the last one was killed in....1937, I think. It was a beautiful creature.
