Which Resident Evil game should I play? :D
I have Resident Evil 4 also, but I have it on Gamecube and I don't feel like taking that out.
I'm a bit interested in Revelations and Revelations 2, but I don't really have money to spare -- and I don't know if they're really worth it even if I did. Does anyone have any opinions on them?
EDIT: Okay, I already have the remake, 4, 5, and 6. I was just asking which one I should play. The Revelations stuff was kind of off topic. I don't have those.

I'd go with HD remake. I couldn't get into 5 and have yet to play 6. I played the first Revelations and loved it, have been meaning to get 2 here soon. I'm still patiently waiting for the RE0 HD remake.... That was one of my favorites!

5 and 6 are very fun with friends. The HD remake I'm sure is fun (played the original haven't gotten remake) 4 was extremely fun too.
-
I would play the remake, I believe resident evil zero and resident evil 2 remake have been announced, supposedly re2 is a big one to look forward too as a fan.

I'd go with Resident Evil HD Remaster. It's a huge improvement over the original in every way. It's the best. Also, Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster is coming down the pipe, so keep an eye out for that one. It's a prequel to the first RE game.

4 was the best game but somehow i had just a tad bit more fun in 5.

First 4. 1-3 was pure survival 4 was easy cause enemies actually dropped ammo but still a fun game. Didn't really play 5 much and 6 doesn't exist imo

Definitely RE4

Edited by Crow4088: 12/8/2015 6:04:09 AMI used to stream it the remastered with speed runs / knife only to me it's the best "feel" for survival horror but all of them are fun in my opinion

HD remake, resident evil 2 and 4

the HD remake would be first (2nd in the series) so that would be the best start but 5 and 6s style are closer to 4 however they tried to please the fan base a bit too much, 5 was more or less just an action game because people liked the action in 4, 6 gave 4 campaigns aimmed at differant types of player

i hate every RE since 4, the last good one. get RE4HD on xbone or PC

Edited by Tuxx: 12/7/2015 9:45:25 PMWell I haven't played the Remake, but I hear it still controls and feels like the original, so if you can't handle some clunky controls, weird camera angles, and older game mechanics, I'd steer clear of that one. RE 4 is great, and many people will say it's their favorite. Regarding 5 and 6, I felt like they kind of lost the spirit of what RE was. I don't think they're bad games personally, but they're way more actiony from what I remember when I played, and the horror aspect is no where close to that of the earlier games. Imo, they're action games more or less. It kind of depends on what sort of experience you're looking for. If I were to play one right now, I'd either try out the remake or play RE4. Idk anything about Revelations.

Personally I liked both revelations games. I like the episodic presentation they give. I'm a little biased, I am an old school RE fan back to the early days on ps1 and sega saturn. The HD remake is most likely awesome I only have the GC version but even that stands as a solid experience. It is also the best resident evil experience. 5 and 6 are good too especially if you have a friend to play with. They have 2 player Co op through the whole campaign.

I can't wait for operation raccoon or what ever it's called looks like it could be fun

if you want horror revelations, revelations 2 and remake are good 5 and 6 are action third person shooters
