I spent ten dollars I worked for to purchase something, ten minutes later I see there is a free sign in the window. The company sold me something they were giving away for free. I'm a sucker. Thanks.
Thanks for making me feel stupid.
Edit: they patched it.....
I don't think I will buy anymore Bungie products.
Edit: Thank you Urk for addressing the situation.

No sympathy for you idiots who bought silver. I'm glad Bungie just dropped a huge deuce on your faces.
-
You got sh1t on.
-
Bahahaha I love reading these posts, reminds me that there actually are idiots out there who did exactly what Luke Smith told them to do

Guardian,Archon Of Light
Eliksni at Heart, Lover Of Eris Morn - old
It was your decision to spend your money on cosmetic items, you got access to them before anyone else, so you got what you paid for. Bungie has every right to offer them has an in game reward!!!! -
Wait 2 win?
-
you should feel stoopid for paying 10 bucks for something that you would not buy on the apple store
-
Edited by DUNNY1981: 12/9/2015 11:03:46 PMBungies gonna fix the glitch and where moneys concerned they are probably take everything off people who have not payed for it. Its classed as theft and it does not look good for buisness. Plus who is gonna buy silver after this incident.
-
BTW I also purchased Nepal shirt, 2 faction shirts, a hat, the art of destiny book, d is for destiny. Over the course of my play. It's not about the amount, it's about the point. BAD BUSINESS IS BAD!!
-
Nobody who used the glitch should be punished in any way, it's Bungie's mistake....however those who paid for the book should be given some form of compensation for paying for something everyone else got for free. Maybe just refund the silver since realistically it'll just be respent on already designed assets so it won't cost them anything other that what they may had earned if they had been purchased in addition to the book.
-
Full retard much?
-
Selling web links to Bungie Software License Agreement for $10 if anyone is interested.
-
Ripped off...perhaps. Stolen...no

Edited by Madinogi: 12/9/2015 9:41:51 PMyou were Stupid the Moment you even bought that damn book. so dont cry. btw you morons are the reason we are no longer getting DLC anymore. so you deserve to get scammed. if your willing to scam your fellow players out of content.
-
A fool and his money are soon parted.
-
What will most likely happen is they will patch the book, and give you an exclusive free sparrow or some shiz.
-
When was the last time any of us/you saw Bungie release a patch that wasn't a total disaster? Really, ask yourselves that question.....be honest.
-
If you are going to cry about 10 dollars I strongly urge you to not suck dick on the streets for dimes. Get a job. I goto school and work. 10 dollars isn't that big of a deal. It's a issue they didn't see. Relax. It will be took away from people without the book
-
It's still RNG. A chance. And it's a limited time event. So the chances of you never receiving the $10 item for free are actually higher than you might think. So...no one stole your money. You willingly gave it to the company.
-
If you got something in exchange for your money, your money wasn't stolen.
-
You might want to spend your money on Rocket League instead. Wonderful game with some free updates and some paid DLCs, all great. Give it a go :)
-
How is that stolen?
-
You SHOULD feel stupid for spending real money on it regardless of the glitch.
-
You get to keep that log book after SRL finishes, the rest of us don't, that's what you paid $10 for
-
It's not like they intended that to happen. Deej said it best last week, 1000 testers can look for any crack in the game but nothing can compete with the ocean of millions who play. They actually sat back and thought "I wonder if they'll find out about the secret mission" when they released the Black Spindle mission, and what happened? Within hours someone accidentally falls into it. They are aware, and they are working on it. They do keep track of everything that goes on in Destiny so it's possible that exploiters will be penalized, but as someone who bought it, I don't think they should.
