Favorite Non-American Rock Band? 2.0
Which non-American rock band is your favorite? Sorry Genesis. Again. Altered from my last post to remove AC/DC and Beatles.
[spoiler]I did not include the Beatles because of the fact they virtually started modern pop rock and spearheaded the music industry of their era. During their reign, they ruled unchallenged. I find it hard to compare other bands to them, even if you may prefer other's music (I'm aware that some of the bands named above may be just as good or better, but I don't believe they're as influential). The Beatles were THE band.
And AC/DC crushed the last poll so I started a fresh one.[/spoiler]

Also, I feel like most people are only voting for Zeppelin because Destiny's trailers and commercials made them relevant here, so now everyone on these forums pretends to know and like them. I hope I'm wrong, because they certainly are amazing, but the results of the poll seem to lean too heavily in Zeppelin's direction, which seems to conflict with reality. Most people my age barely even know what Led Zeppelin is, much less enjoy listening to them.
