Amazing how fast they put out a patch late at night to fix their wallet yet still screw over thousands of players with broken game mechanics. Hell, since TTK released the raid has had multiple bugs yet they go unfixed. Bungie in danger of losing some 10 dollar sales on their TWO MAP, ONE MODE "FREE EVENT"? patch overnight.
If you still support them after this you're nothing but a silver sucking desticle.
EDIT: let's see you defend bungie now, children. Cosmetics only, right guys? Paying for free dlc, right guys? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Shout out to people who waited months to get all 50 fragments and only got a timegated shader LOL

1. A hot fix is different than a patch, hot fixes only take a couple hours 2. They fixed other things 3. Why do you care? Its an optional book, and who cares about the gear when you can earn tons of other gear by just playing? I feel like the only people who are salty about this situation are the people who exploited the glitch, yet still feel more entitled to the gear than the people who actually payed for it.
-
Duh. You just now figured that out. All they care about is the money. I mean they even rushed destiny out before it was even ready.
-
Well it's not just their pockets in which they are saving but all the people who actually bought the book and would have complained if it hadn't. People actually spent money on the book, I'm pretty sure you couldn't buy the thorn (although that would be fairly cool)
-
1. A hot fix on their end is not a patch. 2. The book fix was a simple coding and allowance set. Thorn was rewriting the gun. 3. Deal with it.
-
the thorns the best gun again and pvp is amazingly balanced you gonna cry about that next?
-
To be fair, a company will always protect their profits... Not saying you're wrong though.
-
Ex... actly. Also no dlc but prob more "free" events with multiple cash grab items.
-
Only one of those things pays the bills.
-
Yeaaaaah, pretty dumb
-
#scumbags, oh shit watch out Bungie
-
What about the people who actually bought the record book? They would be ripped off if Bungie hadn't fixed that.
-
Is what out is but considering what ive heard about the difficulty of patching gun balance versus this I'm happy they fixed it for the people who paid.....but can you fix our auto rifles too?
-
stop crying, bungie cares about the players $.and so it should be
-
I know right

Edited by Radahn: 12/10/2015 8:27:49 AMFixing last words exotic perk glitch : 12 months(not even joking!!!)
-
Remember when thorn was complete shit ? I do

I miss the bungie we had back in the good ol halo days. I didnt think micro transactions would hurt anything but with this event im starting to think differently. And this patch was crazy fast which means there is no reason they cant do the same with other things. No matter destiny is still my favorite game just sucks that it has to have this crap in it.
-
Alternate arguement: people who already bought the thing would have been cheated out of their money if had let it continue.
-
No shit
-
At least they fixed it. Would you prefer them to not?

This isnt about them caring about money. This has to do with people who spent money getting shafted because non money users found an exploit. Of course they had to fix this fast or the ramifications would have been nuch much worse.
-
F^ck bungie

I'm a silver sucking desticle and proud.

Would they not feel truly ripped off if this wasn't fixed post haste? This issue goes both ways, remember that...
