For simplicity and shortness, I believe it's 1. Children, and 2. People who don't understand business.

Well, I mean, considering we're their main source of income, we should have a say in the service they're providing. If a resteraunt gave you the wrong order, and you asked for what you wanted, they're going to give you your order. Not charge you for your dinner you have, wait seven months, rewrite the order, then entice you to come back with a Halloween event where you have to buy more things just to enjoy the event.

Edited by Lupinskey: 12/10/2015 11:54:11 AMI'm not disputing that :/ geez. Dude above said "why is everyone so shocked about them caring about money?" All I was saying to him was everyone=children and those who don't do/understand business
-
Good business is giving your customers a freebie every now and then to keep them coming back for more Bad business is slapping your customers on the wrist and then telling them to buy your product -blam!- off kid
-
Hahahah ur sad bro get help
-
Edited by Lupinskey: 12/10/2015 7:32:53 AMYou should really go over everything here before saying shit like that, you make yourself look stupid because none of that has any relation to what I said besides the word "business".
-
everything he has said has made him come off stupid, don't feel so proud thinking it was your statement than coerced the idiot out of him.
-
Edited by Lupinskey: 12/10/2015 7:55:51 AM...Taking pride in the fact I brought the idiot out of someone? I'm sorry but that is madness. I hate ignorance, I hate stupidity more so, I'm not going to take pride in that nor did I, I was just conversing and he came along. Nothing to be proud of, so I don't know why you said that.
-
-blam!- it, i'm proud for you then.
-
...ok I guess *shrugs*.

Edited by JaykeBluesilver: 12/10/2015 7:54:59 AMBlame Activisions contract with bungie.
-
Edited by Synergy-Seven: 12/10/2015 8:14:48 AMNah, i'd rather blame Bungie for indirectly nurturing people's false sense of entitlement from those less cultured in the industry as a whole. It's kinda like when an adolecent has a hissy-fit at his parents, so they leave home because they think they're so hard-done by. and the parent's (Bungie) be like "Ok lol bye.". Then the kids realise..."Oh shit, now i need a job, an apartment to rent, food, utilities...i mean i paid board, but this seems more expensive."
-
But a game company name that everyone forgot about that was ran into the ground by Activision is **Drumrolls** Neversoft.
-
If it wasn't for Activision, Neversoft would have been bankrupt by 1998. Being 'run into the ground by Activision.' was only a reflection of Neversoft's prior shortcomings. If Neversoft employees felt Activision was the cause, half of them wouldn't have joined Infinity Ward after the collapse.
-
Only reasons I can think of why is Contracts and or money.

Edited by Synergy-Seven: 12/10/2015 8:50:17 AMNot lack of Publishing and publisher sourced R&D? I'm not pointing my finger at you or trying to jump on any fanboi boat, but people here really need to research the importance of a good AAA publisher and how they positively impact on developments instead of seeing them as lazy-demanding investors.
-
Plus Bungie probably signed because of Activisions track record with successful game titles.
-
True and I am not saying Activision is all bad. I saying they have to much say in how games are developed and handled after distribution. Even with all these dlcs people got screwed especially for TTK. Yes they should have a say in how something's are done. But that say should not effect the game but it does.

Edited by JaykeBluesilver: 12/10/2015 8:10:30 AMWell it's entitlest Capitolism at its best then.
