I know right?! I mean they're all doing volunteer work over there anyway. They don't have bills to pay or kids to feed. Why should they get paid. Your absolutely right. Keep up the good work.

Hopefully I got the right message through all that bad grammar. No one was saying they shouldn't get paid. I believe the OP's point that resounds with many other people is that the cash cow takes priority over the actual game mechanics and overall experience. Of every bug and problem in Destiny so far this is the only one to be addressed in 24 hours. Why is that?

Well I am no computer programmer or developer, but I would think they call it a hot fix is because it is something they can implement quickly. Asking them to fix something like thorn would take much for time and testing before implementation.
