Having a say means that what they say truly matters, but it doesn't in this case. If Deej is like "The community and I think this should be in the game", it literally holds no weight in whether or not the developers decide to do it. It's entirely up to them, and Cozmo and Deej have no say. Suggesting something isn't having a say. Don't call anybody an idiot if you don't even understand the English language. "Get rekt"

Clearly you weren't here when ghost went 6 months without talking during TDB. Ghost had no dialogue at all, just opened doors

I agree, other games have companions that we can get attached to and would miss. In this game the ghost is a tool that just opens doors, instead of a companion
