Was victory ripped from your grasp?
Did 2st cross the line 20 seconds before 2nd place despite being behind the whole race?
Let me set the scene for me own WTF moment
PIcture it, you are three gates from victory, not one obstical in the way, you are in a fierce battle with 2nd place to keep the lead and take the flag.
THREE flags to go, you hit the flag side by side with 2nd place.
TWO flags to go, 2nd place missed the flag and you pull ahead, certain in your victory
Almost at the last flag before the finish line...... no way 2nd can catch you if you hit that flag
2nd place tears past you as if you were going backwards, ignores the last flag and smashed the finish line almost a second ahead
Bug, Glitch, Exploit, Cheat?
Who knows, but bloody annoying!!!

Exploded out of the venus portal in a close race on the final lap But not when i hit the ground, actually about five seconds later before the last gate And then i get called a cheater by the guy who gets last place, which is just the icing on the cake even though i get fourth due to the long āss respawn timers

NO THEY'RE PASSING ME. NOOOOO [spoiler]The fan actually picked me and carried me all the way to the top. Then I fell. And died. RIP 1st place[/spoiler]

1 ReplyLast stretch of the race in Mars, and I'm comfortably in first. All I have to do is hit all the gates and I win, however a taken centurion decided it was in his interest to send an axion dart towards me, which somehow sent me vertically flying and moving me back to 6th place

I'm guessing the OP's scenario was on Mars - this happens to me even when I'm nearly 10% of the track ahead of 2nd place (based on the icons on the right-hand bar). Second-to-last gate, still have a lead. Hit the last gate, four Sparrows rocket by me and I finish in 5th. Close games are different - I just EXPECT to lose those in the last couple of gates - but this one wasn't even close, I was on a perfect run and just got boned out of 1st for no apparent reason. My favourite lately is the increasingly-unpredictable Sparrow handling. I've hit gates dead-center and gotten no boost, I've changed directions mid-air with no obstacles or other racers nearby and gone careening off the map, and tonight every time I land a jump on Venus my Sparrow hits the ground and comes to a dead stop for about a second. I'll be the first to admit I've taken some bad turns and cost myself plenty of wins, but it's the ones I have in the bag, hands-down, 0 mistakes, and still get boned that have me furious. I had a 1v1 yesterday, 4 players dropped out so it was just me and one other player. I took an early lead, the other player crashed at least 7 times, missed almost every gate, and still passed me multiple times and finished 4 seconds after I did. Once is BS, 20 times in a row is a broken system. Not my problem anymore, I'll just eat the $10 I spent on the book and find something else to do.

Was on the home stretch on mars. The last 2 gates with no one behind me. I was going to do it, i was going to come in first. Then the taken centurion said "-blam!- you" and hit me with an axion dart sending me into the ceiling and killing me instantly. I came in 3rd, threw the controller and said -blam!- this.

Had one today. I was leading the pack going into the warp gate on Venus. Somehow, during the warp, I was bumped so bad I spun back wards and exploded. Then in lap three if the same map, the warp tunnel launched me as far to the left as you can get

I had two seperate instances last night, not sure if its legitiment bug or lag switching or something similar? One of them went on to win comfortably, the second one kept hitting things so didnt do anygood... Anyone else seen this and have any insight?

I made my friend pissed. Anyways he's racing and I join in, I tell him I have the S class I need to do so we do some racing, I got first three times in a row (without boosting) he gets last and 3rd a few times and after wards he got pretty salty it was fun!

I was racing on Venus the other day and I held 1st for pretty much the entire race on the third lap towards the end I went through the portal and it shot me all the way to left where I then landed upside down and proceed to roll a few more times unable to control my sparrow. The crash took an enormous amount of time. I could of blown my Sparrow up twice and still got out of it faster. I was at loss of words, I didnt know how to react other than to just laugh it off. [spoiler]I came in 6th place.[/spoiler]

Pushed it too early, blew up a few feet from the finish line. And 1 more when I fell off the track and got stuck out of bounds with no way back on the track for the full 5 seconds instead of instantly exploding. I lost. All they need to do is add the blue shell in this bitch and I'll be in full on rage mode. I need 1 win to get my s class. Just 1. Edit- I suppose I'm also obligated to curse the fans on mars and the pillar on Venus. It's like magnetic or something, I swear.

I usually lose when for some reason my sparrow does not land properly after a teleport. It tends to bounce, I lose all my speed or sometimes just topple over...This has cost me many 1st place finishes. Plus it seemed that way more people were constantly playing bumpercars yesterday. So annoying. Luckily I've completed S- license on all my Guardians and cleared all the racebook challenges days ago. I don't even have the racebook. :P

Was trying to get my 3rd win for the quest. As i crossed the finish line i was 1/4 of the sparrow lenght ahead. Got in 2nd place by a thousand of a second or something like that.

I got so annoyed earlier when I was doing a perfect run on Venus, lap 3 when I got completely destroyed by the hydra blocking the portal. I couldn't believe what just happened...Finished the race with a time of 4:06...
