SRL - What The Hell (Share your SRL "Almost snapped the pad" moments)
Post your best SRL WTF and WTH moments.
Was victory ripped from your grasp?
Did 2st cross the line 20 seconds before 2nd place despite being behind the whole race?
Let me set the scene for me own WTF moment
PIcture it, you are three gates from victory, not one obstical in the way, you are in a fierce battle with 2nd place to keep the lead and take the flag.
THREE flags to go, you hit the flag side by side with 2nd place.
TWO flags to go, 2nd place missed the flag and you pull ahead, certain in your victory
Almost at the last flag before the finish line...... no way 2nd can catch you if you hit that flag
2nd place tears past you as if you were going backwards, ignores the last flag and smashed the finish line almost a second ahead
Bug, Glitch, Exploit, Cheat?
Who knows, but bloody annoying!!!

Was in first place and 2 racers walled me into one of the fans last lap on mars, good times.

Touched a boost gate and exploded idk how but I ended up 3rd instead of 1st

That moment when someone glitches by you iut of nowhere. They don't even show up on the radar.

I was in second place on Mars on the final lap. The first place player was only seconds in front of me. Right when we were in the homestretch, a Taken Phalanx shield boosted me above the other player far enough so that I could be in first place and win. It was the best feeling.

I had a guy blow up about five feet from the finish line in mars. Instead of first he finished in sixth place.

Just had the guy in 2nd overdrive his sparrow past me to win the race. It was coming apart as he crossed the finish line.

I was salty for a whole minute or 2....inlm normally cool about anything since it's a game, but I was robbed of first place by .003 seconds

I was in first place by mere feet when I go through the teleporter. Second place enters just above me. We exit, I get smashed down into the dirt, and he goes flying ahead.

2 RepliesJust went through teleport for the final lap while leading the race and as I hit the ground I bounce straight up in the air probably twenty feet not moving while the others zoom under me so I can finish fourth. Frustrating.

Sitting in second almost the entire race with barely a sparrows length separating myself and first place on Venus. Finally, as we enter the tunnel area shortly before the teleport he misses a gate and I seize my chance to take the lead. Gate after gate is struck with the precision of a F1 driver. Through the teleport, only 3 gates stand between me and the finish line. Straight through the centre of the first gate leading into a slight right turn through the centre of the penultimate gate perfectly. All that's needed is a leftward boost and nothing can stop my impending victory. I boost through the final gate and off the ledge, the finish line mere seconds away. I begin celebrating my inevitable victory, when out of nowhere, 2nd place flies right over the top of me and finishes almost a second ahead of me. I scream multiple profanities at the player, the Xbox and the morons who made this possible (bungie) before switching my Xbox off and watching TV. Seriously, why is there so much inconsistency in speed and landings in the SRL

Not a fail thought I'd share I was in a neck and neck battle between two others for 1st on Venus and right as we hit the jump for the finish we stopped dead in our tracks and stared at each other trying to let the other pass
