SRL - What The Hell (Share your SRL "Almost snapped the pad" moments)
Post your best SRL WTF and WTH moments.
Was victory ripped from your grasp?
Did 2st cross the line 20 seconds before 2nd place despite being behind the whole race?
Let me set the scene for me own WTF moment
PIcture it, you are three gates from victory, not one obstical in the way, you are in a fierce battle with 2nd place to keep the lead and take the flag.
THREE flags to go, you hit the flag side by side with 2nd place.
TWO flags to go, 2nd place missed the flag and you pull ahead, certain in your victory
Almost at the last flag before the finish line...... no way 2nd can catch you if you hit that flag
2nd place tears past you as if you were going backwards, ignores the last flag and smashed the finish line almost a second ahead
Bug, Glitch, Exploit, Cheat?
Who knows, but bloody annoying!!!

1 ReplyI got 1st place to finish Amanda's quest but I got kicked to orbit before the race ended. Didn't get the quest credit and spent 2 more hours trying to come in first again. Thx Bng

That moment when you're in first and then you go through a teleporter and are magically in last place. Meanwhile everyone is lagging in front of you.

I took the Mars man cannon and for whatever reason it decided to shoot me all the way left, off the map.

I lost within .13 seconds. All cuz I ran out of side boosts at the end of the Venus map on the last gate boosted me into a wall. It sucked

Was tied for first with a guy on mars and we were at the stairs with that column right in the center. I do a side thrust to try and force him into the column but am instead chucked nose first into the air and fall into a crack that my sparrow can't boost out of.

2 RepliesFirst place on venus and last lap at the finish line my sparrow barrel rolled all over the place, blew up got 6. All right in front of the finish line on the last lap.

Last night I was on Mars and was in first place, fan blade glitches out and carried me to the top of the fan and then I fell down and it did it again and blew me up putting me in 4th. Got a 320 helmet after so I stopped complaining lmao. The other is if you don't go through the portal on Mars straight you have a good chance of missing the ledge and blowing up and that bugs me. It should carry you across no matter what. Only way I've been able to fix this issue is doing barrel rolls through it.

1st place coming into the last stretch on venus, i somehow bump a stair, throwing me up into the sky, achieving air time of about 20 minutes, everyone passes me, 5th place

2 RepliesI get into first place, for the first time ever, cross the finish line and yell to my son, "first place, whoohoo!" As I am coasting to a stop, only to hear " one more lap to go!"

On Mars the portal before the 3 fans....I can go straight through that and I will still fall down and die or be on the edge and get bumped in the air wasting time every time.

Oh man, I was on this dudes ass the entire race and we are literally like 10 feet from the finish line, I love tap him and we both go out of control and I end up winning. I love SRL so much.

Got love tapped right at the end of a race and spun out right before the finish. Another race had a guy slam me out of a gate, he missed it as well but he still got the speed boost.

Hitting the ground from a high jump only to bounce straight up and hang for 3 seconds watching everybody else blow past.

How about being blinded by one of the bombs and having it last the remainder of the race(2 laps). Or randomly flipping and exploding through no fault of my own.

I came in a close second with the third place guy a few seconds behind us, after the other four crossed the finish line it moved me to fourth...

losing by literally .004 seconds in trying to get my 3rd win...took another 10 races to get it..lol

I win - 1 strange coin - 3rd place gets 310+ gear I don't win - 1 mote - 1st place and/or 5th place get 310+ gear I can't spare all night to type how many WTF? moments I have experienced in the SRL thus far, let's just say it is more than I can put into words right now.

Was racing on Mars. Final lap. Just got to the fans, was way in front. Hits the first one. Blows up. Still in first. Hits the second one. Blows up. Still In first. Hits the third one. Blows up. When I spawn in, I hear "THATS IT, THE RACE IS OVER!!!" I cry silently.

Apparently hit the rear of the sparrow in front of me. I was going faster I guess. Dead stop. Whaaaaat.
