Post your best SRL WTF and WTH moments.
Was victory ripped from your grasp?
Did 2st cross the line 20 seconds before 2nd place despite being behind the whole race?
Let me set the scene for me own WTF moment
PIcture it, you are three gates from victory, not one obstical in the way, you are in a fierce battle with 2nd place to keep the lead and take the flag.
THREE flags to go, you hit the flag side by side with 2nd place.
TWO flags to go, 2nd place missed the flag and you pull ahead, certain in your victory
Almost at the last flag before the finish line...... no way 2nd can catch you if you hit that flag
2nd place tears past you as if you were going backwards, ignores the last flag and smashed the finish line almost a second ahead
Bug, Glitch, Exploit, Cheat?
Who knows, but bloody annoying!!!

Rage quit moment came on Mars. I was leading pretty much the whole race up to the turbines. The second one just, and I mean just, clipped the back of my sparrow which of course, as physics dictates, means my sparrow needs to float up about 10 feet in the air for about 10 seconds allowing everyone else past. To make it better I floated into the third turbine and exploded. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU

1 ReplyI had many wtf moments but you guys pretty much described it all. A useful tip for those who smacks the ground hard and stop, bounce, or explode: if you equip the legendary race helmet that allows you to speed or slow your decent, it is useful to tilt back to mitigate your decent into a softer landing. Fast decent (tilting down) is great for places like right after the teleportal on Venus on the last stretch to the finish line. I usually use fast decent in all cases except the big launch chasm in Mars (otherwise would smack into the cliff side) or the the long drop on Venus w the floating walker tank platform.

2 RepliesEdited by Risen Asura: 12/11/2015 1:59:40 AMI was using one of the older sparrows with a xur upgrade and on the fans someone dodged and spun me. Somehow, the fan blade got wedged in the prongs on the front of my sparrow and I was stuck looping til I jumped off my sparrow.

2 RepliesI had a similar occurence, but everytime the match finished I get one strange coin while my friends get 310+ gear and shaders. I now have 186 from today only. I dismantled every last one out of pure unadulterated rage

Yeah I have to take a deep breath and remember same shit is happening to everyone. The pillar of doom and those god forsaken fans. Thankfully after you've got SClass you only need to win for the book emblem which I'm not that excited about. Biggest WTF moment for me was the Venus jump where the fallen ship is. Did the jump then as I landed I hit an invisible trampoline that sent me spinning sideways through the air off the cliff in a massive arc.

Won the race, had position #1 on the scoreboard and as the other racers came through my name dropped down the board still with the #1 tag but no time displayed and the 2nd place racer got the win. Took my an hour to get another win and get my quest finished. Been a lot of fun so far though.

1 ReplyRace finishes and I'm in second place. Except the countdown timer glitches and the race doesn't end. Everyone just kinda sit there for a while, then people slowly leave the game. Race winner leaves. "We have a winner"! Game then ends and I get a free win.

On mars winning by a easy 10 seconds gets round the last corner with easy win is basically guaranteed WAIT.....WHATS THIS......taken centurion shield pulse fires me right back into the -blam!-ing cave.........finished 6th place

I didn't know to land on the left and take the shortcut off the skiff. I'd fly almost to the next gate only to explode when I hit the ground. Just watched a vid and said "wtf" =/

Edited by SIAL0QUENT: 12/11/2015 8:29:15 AMThe fact that no matter how good I do, it doesn't matter. I can hold in L2 as far as it will go, but for whatever reason, I still can only hit a max of around 108 MPH.

Always on the last lap and in 1st place: get snagged on a pebble or magnetically stuck to a wall.... 2nd place pushes me out of the way of the next gate.... 3rd place pushes me out of the way of the gate after that.... 4th, 5th, and 6th pass like I'm parked... can't get enough speed to clear the jump... guardian down.

Well I got one that's opposite I lead in first whole time gained about 15 second lead and I well I sit at finish turned around. Wait then win race in reverse. I also honk furiously at the other guys.

I had the exact same thing happen to me.... Last lap I'm leading the pack... I hit the final gate and somehow there's a guy that fly's past me like I'm moving in slow motion???? The F is up with that... -_-
